What is cystitis? Why did you get male cystitis? What causes male cystitis?
Experts say cystitis is mainly caused by infection, which is mainly divided into ascending infection, descending infection and local direct infection. After infection, we must go to the hospital for examination and receive formal treatment as soon as possible, otherwise the consequences would be unimaginable.
What causes cystitis? It is mainly caused by infection.
There are many reasons for cystitis. All factors that can destroy the normal antibacterial ability of bladder mucosa, change the normal tissue structure of bladder wall and adapt to bacterial retention, growth and reproduction can induce cystitis.
The routes of infection are divided into
1. Upward infection: bacteria enter the bladder through the urethra, which is the most common way of infection.
2. Downward infection: secondary to kidney infection, bacteria enter the bladder with urine through the ureter.
3. Local direct infection: after cystostomy, it is directly connected with the external skin. When vesicovaginal fistula and vesicorectal fistula occur, bacteria directly invade the bladder through the fistula to cause infection.
What causes cystitis? Three misunderstandings should be avoided
1. Go to the drugstore to buy antibiotics as soon as you have symptoms of frequent urination and urgency. It should be noted that the symptoms of frequent urination and urgent urination are sometimes psychotic, and some are unstable bladder function. Not all of them need to use antibiotics. It is better to go to the hospital for testing and diagnosis, and then apply the medicine to the case.
2. Stop taking medicine when symptoms improve. The improvement of symptoms is not equal to cure. Early withdrawal of drugs often causes the resurgence of residual pathogenic microorganisms and increases drug resistance. In clinical practice, two or more antibiotics are often used to treat recurrent urinary tract infections. The drug can be stopped only after the symptoms are relieved and the urine test is normal for three consecutive times (urine is an important indicator to judge when to stop the drug).
3. Not willing to do urine bacterial culture. Urine bacterial culture needs to be sterilized at the urethral orifice. Take a special culture bottle from the designated department of the hospital. The culture time usually takes about 3 days, which is really a little troublesome. However, when the efficacy of empirical medication is poor, urine bacterial culture can provide the type of pathogenic bacteria and the corresponding drug sensitivity report to guide clinicians to select sensitive drugs.
