What is the reason for recurrent infection of external genital eczema? Can female genital eczema be transmitted
Vulvar eczema is not only a gynecological disease, but also a skin disease, which poses great harm to patients. After illness, it should be treated reasonably and not blindly treated or cared for to prevent the recurrence of the condition.
Etiology of recurrent eczema of the vulva
1. Vulvar eczema is a common allergic and inflammatory skin disease of the vulva, with a clear tendency to exudate. It is generally believed to be caused by type 4 allergic reactions. Its main characteristics are multiform skin damage, recurrent attacks, symmetrical occurrence, and severe itching. Eczema scabs, and after the condition improves and recovers, the skin does not leave scars.
2. The warmth and humidity of the skin not only promote the growth and reproduction of bacteria, but also cause itching. Under continuous humidity conditions, the skin is more sensitive to various stimuli. At the same time, the external genitalia is close to the vagina, urethral opening, and anus, and is prone to bacterial contamination. Fungi, bacteria, and their metabolites are one of the common causes of external genital eczema.
3. After the onset of the disease, itching is unbearable, excessive scratching or accidental use of hot water can exacerbate the condition or form chronic burns. In addition, improper application of medication can also worsen the condition.
Can external genital eczema be contagious
Eczema symptoms recur, but eczema is definitely not contagious. The causes of eczema are diverse, mainly including hereditary eczema quality, mental tension, overwork, insomnia, autonomic nervous system dysfunction caused by drastic emotional changes, stimulating food allergies caused by nerve damage, physical factors, and skin surface bacterial infections. The causes of eczema are not only due to the patient's own constitution, stress, nerves, and sensitivity to things. In other words, eczema appears on the epidermis, but the root cause is within it. Eczema is not contagious, please rest assured.
Prevention of female genital eczema
1. Abandoning antibiotic abuse: People take antibiotic drugs when they feel a little uncomfortable in their daily lives. In fact, antibiotics not only help with disease recovery, but also have a high possibility of inhibiting some beneficial bacterial communities. Mold in the human body proliferates in large quantities
2. Be wary of washing machines: almost every washing bucket contains hidden mold! And the more frequently the washing machine is used, the more mold there is! But please don't worry. To deal with mold in the washing machine, just wash the washing bucket with hot water at around 60 ℃
3. Clean underwear separately: Mold can multiply extensively on the surface of the skin, gastrointestinal tract, nails, and other areas. Family members and themselves suffering from ringworm, gray nails, etc. are prone to cross infection with mold. So underwear must be cleaned separately.
