What are the symptoms of entering adolescence? How Girls Face the Problems of Adolescence
Teenagers undergo significant changes when they enter puberty. This change is not only physiological and psychological, but also a matter of adolescence. More understanding is still needed!
The manifestation of entering adolescence
1. Sexual awareness has sharply increased. Physiologically, sexual development accelerates, and adolescents are particularly interested in sexual knowledge. They have a strong desire to interact with the opposite sex, and their sexual curiosity and mystery are increasing.
2. The rapid improvement of intelligence level has led to a rapid development in the accuracy and generalization of problems, gradually transitioning from visual thinking to abstract logical thinking.
3. Strong and unstable self-awareness. The desire for independence is enhanced, and one can make their own judgments and opinions on things, but their understanding and evaluation of oneself are too high or too low, often plagued by some contradictions, such as the contradiction between the desire for independence and the lack of independence ability, the contradiction between one's own "sense of adulthood" and the "childishness" in the eyes of adults, and so on.
4. The emotional world is full of storms. Often presenting childish emotional impulses and transient unstable states, loneliness, sadness, excitement, joy, and anger are subtly intertwined, forming a strong, turbulent, and uncoordinated emotional world.
5. Interests are becoming increasingly diverse, with a strong desire for knowledge and curiosity, ideals, love for life, and active participation in various creative activities. Competitive, adventurous, and interesting activities are more enjoyable.
Common problems among adolescent girls
1. Late Sexual maturity
Late sexual maturity refers to normal development in other aspects, but primary amenorrhea. There may be several reasons, including physiological or constitutional delays, severe genetic, anatomical, or endocrine disorders, and even life-threatening diseases. If a girl still has hair when she is 13 years old and has not menstruated when she is 14 years old, it shows that Sexual maturity is delayed and needs assessment.
2. Menstrual irregularities
(l) Irregular physiological days: many adolescent girls have irregular Menstrual cycle and blood volume. A few years ago after menarche, it was normal for Menstrual cycle interval to reach 2 or 3 months, and they were also worried. However, if the interval is longer and secondary amenorrhea occurs, they will seek medical treatment and assistance.
Many women complain that their menstrual period can last up to 10-12 days. It is difficult to determine the amount of bleeding based on their own description, so hemoglobin levels have become a reliable indicator. If the hemoglobin level is below 12 grams/100 milliliters, it indicates the need for treatment. As low as 7 grams, hospitalization is required and more aggressive intensive treatment is given. Many girls who are otherwise healthy during menstruation have less bleeding, but they require treatment and cannot be ignored. If a girl is not taking oral contraceptives, but bleeding during the week may be the primary symptom of malignant tumors in the reproductive system.
