Qi Xing (pseudonym) is waiting for prosecution in the detention center. A few days ago during the holiday season, Qi Xing hacked his girlfriend to death in a shared house in Chengzhong Village, Panyu, Guangzhou. He also cut off her head and threw it into a stinky ditch to vent his anger. The reason was that he suspected her of cheating.
The prosecutor's office found that Qi Xing and his girlfriend Teng Fang (pseudonym) are both married individuals and have already formed different families in their hometown. Qi Xing, 23, married and had children in her hometown of Hunan, while Teng Fang, 26, is married and has a son. Both of them are working in Panyu District, Guangzhou, far from their families.
In September 2011, Qi Xing and Teng Fang met online and became friends at first sight, gradually developing a relationship. Shortly after, the two rented a house in a city village on Zhongcun Street in Panyu District and began living together. On Valentine's Day this year, Qi Xing and Teng Fang attended a product promotion lecture together. Qi Xing suspected that Teng Fang had an improper relationship with the lecturer, and Qi Xing, who was increasingly jealous, had a dispute with Teng Fang in a rented house. After the two of them quarreled, they began to tug at each other. In a fit of anger, Qi Xing went to the kitchen and took out a kitchen knife and chopped it at Tengfang's neck, ultimately causing Tengfang's great artery to rupture, causing excessive bleeding and death.
After Teng Fang's death, Qi Xing didn't even realize how to relieve his hatred, so he cut off Teng Fang's head and threw it into the stinky ditch downstairs to vent his anger. Qi Xing intended to pack up his luggage and escape after the murder, but after being discovered by the landlord and dissuaded, he ultimately chose to surrender to the police.
On February 27th of this year, the People's Procuratorate of Panyu District, Guangzhou approved the arrest of Qi Xing, who was suspected of intentional homicide, in accordance with the law. After being arrested, Qi Xing confessed that he always felt dizzy and oppressed at the time, as if he was under some kind of threat, always thinking of killing his girlfriend to lift the threat.
