Life Milestones
British men's clothing brand JACAMO surveyed 1000 men to understand their happiest moments and moments in daily life.
The results showed that in terms of the happiest time, 43% of survey respondents believed that the birth of a child was the happiest day of their life; 35% believe that getting married is the happiest time of their life; Another 18% said that seeing their favorite team "beat" their opponents is a joy in life.
Other happiest moments in life include buying a new property, watching the national sports team win a major competition, proposing to a lover, completing full-time education, and purchasing a new car.
Happy Peak Year
The survey results show that most men experience all these milestone events before the age of 37, so around the age of 37 can be considered a "happy age".
Men in this age group have fixed partners, a happy and warm family, and three or two close friends to share happiness and troubles. They are far away from the anxiety of adolescence, and the so-called "middle-aged crisis" has not yet arrived, which is a good time in life.
The Daily Mail of England reported on the 1st, citing Philip Hudson, a member of the British Association for Psychological Counseling and Therapy, that 37 year old men are enjoying the benefits of physical health and life experiences.
Hodgson said that this is in line with logic, that is, men are happier when they are younger and healthier, and as they age, their bodies begin to weaken and suffer from various diseases. At the age of 37, you were still quite young and did not experience the cruel side of life due to the middle-aged crisis. You were also mature enough, confident in your inner self, respected by others, had some power, and had a certain sense of achievement
Daily pleasures
As for the happy moments in daily life, 29% of respondents said that a delicious lunch is a good enjoyment; 28% said buying their favorite DVD discs, clothing, or new technology products is a pleasure; 27% enjoy hanging out with friends.
Many survey respondents said that a good cup of coffee or tea, an unexpected family dinner, time to read news, record high game scores, receiving mobile SMS messages, and learning new information from friends through social media are enjoyable.
The survey results show that being with family is more enjoyable. Most survey respondents believe that being with their partners and children is the happiest time; Only 5% believe that spending time with colleagues is quite enjoyable.
