Urethritis is a common disease, which refers to inflammation of urethra mucosa, which is easy to occur in women. Clinically, it can be divided into acute and chronic, non-specific urethritis and gonococcal urethritis. The latter two kinds of clinical manifestations are similar and must be distinguished according to the medical history and bacteriological examination. Most of them are caused by the retrograde invasion of pathogenic bacteria into the urethra.
Detailed introduction of six major causes of urethritis
1、 Obstruction of urethral orifice or internal urethra: urethral stricture, calculus, tumor, phimosis and posterior urethral valve, etc., urine drainage is not smooth, and the effect of urine washing is weakened, which is easy to induce infection.
2、 Infection of urethra and its surrounding glands: such as prostatitis, seminal vesiculitis, vaginitis, cervicitis, etc.
3、 Microbial invasion: urethritis may be caused by unclean sexual life and the cross infection of reproductive system diseases between husband and wife.
4、 Decrease of local resistance: intestinal bacteria exist in the anterior segment of the urethra and near the vestibule of normal women, but the local defense without infection decreases, for example, during menstruation, pregnancy, local trauma, etc., bacteria multiply in large numbers, which is easy to cause rising infection.
5、 External inducements: frequent masturbation, overwork in the room, smoking and drinking, wearing underwear, cycling for a long time, etc., urethral pressure injury, local congestion, ischemia, hypoxia, decreased resistance of urethral mucosa, and easy to become inflamed.
6、 The position of the external orifice of the urethra moves inward during sexual intercourse: bacteria easily enter the urethra, partial secretion increases during sexual intercourse, and the anterior wall of the vagina, bladder neck, and urethra are congested, which is prone to inflammation.
Treatment of urethritis should start from four aspects
1. Precautions for urethritis: eliminate anxiety and actively cooperate with doctors for treatment: adhere to medication, use pure Chinese medicine to reduce drug resistance, drug toxicity and recurrence rate.
2. Abstinence: If a man has urethritis, in addition to the fact that both husband and wife should go to a regular hospital for treatment at the same time, it is better to avoid sexual contact before the sexual partner is completely cured. Advocate the use of condoms and other barrier tools. Pay attention to the hygiene of normal sexual life and establish good personal hygiene habits.
3. Attention to rest: During the period of male friends suffering from urethritis, urethritis is more obvious for the male's own urinary tract irritation symptoms, and it is also accompanied by fever, so they should rest in bed, and can get out of bed after the temperature returns to normal. Chronic patients should also take proper rest according to their condition to prevent reinfection caused by low immunity after excessive fatigue.
