Male overwork can lead to Sexual dysfunction What harm does Sexual dysfunction do to men
When many men don't work or attend classes, I stay at home or in the dormitory. Slovenly. I don't like cleanliness and idleness. They usually don't care about the small matter of brushing their teeth. As is well known, not brushing one's teeth can become a 'I can't do it anymore' reason. During the research process, the scientists compared and analyzed the two groups of participants. One group of 80 people, 30 to 40 years old, with Erectile dysfunction, and the other group of 82 people, no problem.
The results showed that 53% of Erectile dysfunction participants had gingivitis symptoms at the same time. In contrast, this proportion is only 23% of the control group. After adjusting for age, body mass index, family income, education level and other factors, the researchers found that men with serious periodontal disease were 3.29 times more likely to suffer from Erectile dysfunction than men with healthy gums.
Dr. Faith Oguz of Inonu University in Türkiye said: "Erectile dysfunction is the main health problem affecting the quality of life. 50 million men have this problem. Two thirds of Erectile dysfunction is caused by physiological factors, mainly vascular problems, while other Erectile dysfunction is caused by psychological factors such as emotional stress and depression. Chronic Periodontal disease is an infectious disease caused by bacteria, and the most common symptom is gingivitis. Many studies have found that chronic Periodontal disease can lead to vascular diseases, such as Coronary heart disease related to erectile dysfunction. “
The average age of the two groups of males participating in the study was less than 36 years old, and there were significant differences in body mass index, family income, and education level. Researchers used the International Erectile Function Index to assess participants' sexual function, and evaluated their gum health status through plaque index, probing bleeding, probing depth, and clinical attachment level.
Aoguzi pointed out that as far as we know, Erectile dysfunction and chronic periodontal disease are caused by similar factors such as aging, smoking, diabetes and Coronary artery disease. In this study, we excluded males and smokers with systemic diseases. In particular, we selected men aged 30 to 40 as participants to evaluate the impact of chronic periodontal disease on Erectile dysfunction on the premise of eliminating the effects of aging. Our research finds that it supports a theory that chronic periodontal disease is more common in patients with Erectile dysfunction and should be used as a reference factor for doctors to treat patients with erectile dysfunction.
