Kidney strengthening methods for tonifying the kidney and strengthening yang in traditional Chinese medicine
Qiangshen Point - Waist Eye
According to ancient Chinese medicine, rubbing the waist and eyes with the palm can not only dredge the meridians and strengthen the waist and spine, but also play a role in hearing and eyesight, strengthening the kidney, and prolonging life. Middle aged people often rub their waist and eyes, which can maintain a straight back in old age, and also prevent and treat low back pain caused by wind and cold.
Modern medical research has proven that massaging the waist can not only expand the rich capillary network in local skin, promote blood circulation, accelerate the elimination of metabolic products, but also stimulate nerve endings and mildly stimulate the nervous system, which is conducive to the repair of damaged tissues and improve the endurance of the waist muscle.
Therefore, massaging the waist can play a better role in preventing and treating chronic lumbar muscle strain and acute lumbar sprain, as well as treating diseases such as intervertebral disc herniation and sciatica.
Location of Waist Eye Acupoint: Waist Eye Acupoint is a unique meridian point located at the waist, under the fourth lumbar spine process, in a depression about 3.5 inches apart.
Massage method:
When massaging yourself, first look for the horizontal line of the fourth lumbar spine process. The way to find it is that when we put our hands on the waist, we can feel the bone in the waist from behind. This is the iliac crest in anatomy, which is exactly flush with the fourth lumbar spine process of the human body.
Then, measure a little more distance from the middle line of the hand, which is where the waist eye acupoint is located.
Generally speaking, when massaging, the body should be seated upright, with both hands clenched and the back naturally facing back. Press the waist and eye acupoints tightly with the raised fist eyes of the index finger and do a rotation and forceful massage, preferably with acid swelling.
You can knead for 5 minutes each time, and long-term adherence has a good effect on strengthening the waist and kidney.
Male Acupoint - Guan Yuan
For male health care, there is a primary acupoint to know, which is Guan Yuan. It has the functions of tonifying the kidney and strengthening yang, warming and unblocking meridians, regulating qi and blood, supplementing deficiency and benefiting damage, and strengthening the vitality of the body. There was a saying in the past that "when a person is in the middle of his body, it is also known as Da Zhong Ji, which is a place for men to store essence and women to accumulate blood." Both ancient and modern times have been used as important acupoints for health care.
Treatment symptoms:
It is mainly used to treat diseases of deficiency of vital energy, such as apoplexy, weakness, fatigue, fear of cold, etc;
Andrological disorders such as ejaculation, impotence, premature ejaculation, and low sexual function;
Location of Guanyuan point: four fingers below the navel. Guanyuan acupoint is located in the Ren meridian of the "sea of yin meridians" of the human body, 3 inches below the navel, also known as the lower elixir field, and has the function of nourishing vital energy and strengthening the body. The "inch" here is the same body inch, and the width of each person's palm with four fingers together is equivalent to three inches of the same body inch. Therefore, it is also easy to find the Guan Yuan acupoint. On the median line of the human body, measure the distance of four finger widths downward from the navel, which is the Guan Yuan acupoint.
Massage method:
When self massaging, you can first rub the left or right palm counterclockwise and clockwise for 3-5 minutes with Guan Yuan as the center of the circle.
Then, press Guanyuan acupoint with your breath for 3 minutes.
Of course, if conditions permit, you can also use moxa sticks to moxibustion Guanyuan for about 10 minutes each time, which has a good strengthening effect.
