TCM treatment of scrotal eczema
TCM treatment is mainly based on syndrome differentiation. Traditional Chinese medicine often divides scrotal eczema into two types: damp-heat down-injection syndrome and yin deficiency and blood dryness syndrome. Damp-heat down-injection syndrome is equivalent to acute scrotal eczema, and yin deficiency and blood dryness syndrome is equivalent to chronic scrotal eczema.
(1) The damp-heat injection syndrome shows that the scrotum has millet-sized blisters and blisters, and the skin has a burning sensation. After scratching, there is a lot of exudation, erosion and scab, and the underwear is often soaked. The tongue is red, the fur is yellow and greasy, and the pulse is stringy and smooth. This is because the evil of dampness and heat is injected into the vagina along the meridian. The treatment should clear away heat and dehumidify. The commonly used prescription is Gentiana Xiegan Decoction, which is added or subtracted. Medicinal: Gentiana grass 10g, Scutellaria baicalensis 10g, Bupleurum chinense 10g, Paeonia rubra 10g, Gardenia jasminoides 10g, Sophora flavescens 10g, Alisma orientalis 10g, Mutong 10g, Kochia scoparia 20g, raw licorice 6g. Take it in water, one dose per day.
(2) In the syndrome of yin deficiency and blood dryness, the scrotal skin wrinkles become thicker and deeper, and blood seeps out after scratching, and the itching is severe at night. The tongue is red, less moss, and the pulse is thin and smooth. This is because the evil of dampness and heat damages the yin fluid for a long time, resulting in yin deficiency and blood dryness. The treatment is suitable for nourishing yin, nourishing blood and moistening dryness. The commonly used prescription is angelica decoction plus or minus: angelica sinensis 10g cooked ground 20g white peony 10g ligusticum chuanxiong 10g black ginseng 10g wattle mustard 10g fangfeng 10g white fresh skin 30g white tribulus terrestris 10g raw liquorice 6g.
