Two male science professors from the National University of Singapore recently wrote an article in the Asian Journal of Andrology published in Shanghai calling for stopping the use of animal organs without scientific basis as drugs to protect endangered wild animals in Asia.
They said that with the development of medicine, there have been many advanced drugs for the treatment of male sexual dysfunction, but the near-superstitious rumor that taking animal organs to enhance human sexual function still has its market. And these rumors have produced irreparable tragedy: some endangered animals have become extinct, and some have become extinct faster.
They urged Asian andrologists to immediately stop using this original "treatment" method and select more advanced treatment measures from the rapid medical progress.
