How to improve the survival rate of sperm
Participate in more exercise. Research has shown that excessive obesity in men can lead to an increase in temperature in the groin, damage the growth of sperm, and ultimately lead to infertility. Therefore, controlling weight within the standard range can improve the quality of sperm. However, the intensity of exercise should be moderate. Intense exercise, such as marathons and long-distance cycling, can still raise the temperature of the testes and disrupt the cool environment required for sperm growth. Cycling can also put fragile testicular vesicles and blood vessels at risk. Therefore, it is recommended to wear padded shorts and choose a bicycle with good shock absorption function when cycling.
Avoid going to the sauna and steam room. High temperature steam bath directly damages sperm and also inhibits sperm production.
Quit smoking. Data shows that 44% of people believe that smoking is the main factor causing a decrease in sperm count, so quitting smoking is imperative.
Moderate alcohol consumption. Heavy alcohol consumption can lead to a decrease in sperm quality. Men should strictly follow the recommended amount of 14-28 standard glasses (8-9 grams of alcohol) per day and women should halve it.
Reduce the use of cosmetics. Cosmetics widely contain a substance called phthalate, which can disrupt the endocrine system, leading to a decrease in male sperm count, decreased motility, and abnormal morphology.
Say no to the anesthetic. Anesthetics, drugs, and other substances also pose great harm to sperm and can last for a long time.
Relax your mindset. Excessive mental stress can also have a negative impact on sperm growth. So men should do things that can help them relax, such as walking, bathing, etc., before enjoying sex.
Put your phone in your shirt pocket. Placing a mobile phone in your pants pocket, a laptop on your knee, or wearing tight pants can increase scrotal temperature and harm sperm, so you should keep your phone in your top pocket.
