How to deal with the severe pain of endometriosis? Can B-ultrasound detect endometriosis
Endometriosis is a gynecological disease that is also common in daily life. After illness, patients have a series of symptoms, and when our body is abnormal, we must immediately undergo reasonable examinations.
Symptoms of endometriosis
1. Physiological pain: The patient complained that there was no pain during menstruation in the past and began to experience physiological pain from a certain period. It can occur before, during, and after menstruation. Some menstrual cramps are severe and unbearable, requiring bed rest or medication to relieve pain. Pain often worsens with the menstrual cycle. The level of estrogen continues to increase, causing proliferation and swelling of the ectopic endometrium, bleeding under the influence of pregnancy hormones, stimulating local tissues, and causing pain. If it is intrinsic endometriosis, it can promote uterine muscle contracture, and dysmenorrhea will definitely be more pronounced. There are no cases of bleeding in ectopic tissues, and their dysmenorrhea may be caused by vascular congestion. After menstruation, the ectopic endometrium gradually atrophies and dysmenorrhea disappears. Clinically, there is significant endometriosis, but about 25% of cases have painless menstruation. The psychological state of women can also affect pain perception.
2. Excessive menstruation: Intrinsic endometriosis, increased menstrual flow, prolonged menstruation, and increased endometrium may be accompanied by ovarian dysfunction.
3. Infertility: Patients with endometriosis often have infertility. The causal relationship between infertility and endometriosis is still controversial. Pelvic endometriosis often causes adhesions around the fallopian tubes, affecting oocyte pickup and lumen blockage. Or infertility may occur due to ovarian lesions affecting the normal progression of ovulation. But some people also believe that long-term infertility, during the period of continuous menstruation, can lead to the opportunity for endometriosis; Once pregnant, the ectopic endometrium is suppressed and atrophied.
4. Pain during sexual intercourse: Endometriosis that occurs in the uterine rectal fossa and vaginal rectal septum, causing swelling of surrounding tissues and affecting sexual activity. Premenstrual discomfort worsens.
5. Stool bloating: It usually occurs during the pre menstrual period or after menstruation, and patients feel unbearable pain when their feces pass through the rectum, which is not felt at other times. It is a typical symptom of endometriosis in the uterine and rectal fossa and near the rectum. Occasionally, if the ectopic endometrium reaches deep into the rectal mucosa, there may be rectal bleeding during menstruation. People with endometriotic lesions that surround the rectum and form stenosis have symptoms of internal urgency, followed by congestion, similar to cancer.
