How should schools promote adolescence for young men and women? In recent years, many experts in China have conducted research and exploration on the work of adolescence in secondary schools. Some schools have also explored and experimented based on their own actual situations, but overall, they are still in the exploratory development stage. Due to various factors, they have also tried in this regard at Jining No.1 Middle School in Ulanqab City, a remote area, The expected results have almost been achieved now.
This article discusses some personal thoughts and experiences on the issue of high school students' adolescence work in schools, hoping to have a certain reference value for other brother schools to carry out this work. High school students are a relatively special group, they are in the middle stage of puberty, which means that compared to middle school students, they have matured both physically and psychologically, but they are far from truly mature. Some people may be aware of the various physiological changes and psychological phenomena that occur in themselves, but many are still in a state of ignorance, causing many troubles and affecting their normal learning and life. Therefore, it is necessary to carry out scientific knowledge popularization and education in this group, which plays a positive role in their smooth development.
We have collaborated with experts to investigate the sexual psychology and physical health status of some high school male students, but the results are not optimistic. From the results of our survey, it can be seen that over 27% of high school men have various sexual and physiological health problems, and nearly half of them do not know or will not open the foreskin to clean the penis, resulting in many inflammatory symptoms. The most common sexual physiological problems are physiological dysplasia, phimosis, penile curvature, varicocele, extensive adhesions of the foreskin, smegma and stones, and balanitis of the foreskin. Some of them have reached a point where non treatment is indispensable.
If two people have never cleaned the inside of the foreskin of the penis and cause balanoposthitis, or if one person has long-term inflammation of the foreskin, the foreskin opening becomes white and hard, and there is already a risk of malignancy, the two people are already 17 years old but have just shown signs of development. Girls did not investigate, but through feedback from psychological counseling, issues such as unstable menstruation, dysmenorrhea, and a few gynecological inflammations are also common. According to a survey of the sexual psychology status of high school students, there is generally an incorrect understanding of sex among them. Many people believe that sex is not good, sexual impulses are difficult to feel embarrassed, and sexual physiological phenomena (such as menstruation, ejaculation, erection, etc.) are also difficult to feel embarrassed. Washing the genitals in front of others while taking a shower is not thought-provoking.
Therefore, many people are in a state of sexual closure and oppression, often experiencing conflicts, confusion, and inferiority in their hearts. The incidence of masturbation among males is about 70% in the second and third grades of high school, and about 20% in the first grade of high school. Many of them feel guilty, conflicted, and feel inferior, which affects their daily learning and interpersonal relationships. Personal masturbation behavior is out of control, with frequent impulsiveness, weak waist and legs, dizziness, and swelling and pain in the perineum, which places greater emphasis on psychological burden and seriously affects physical and mental health.
Girls who experience unstable menstruation and severe dysmenorrhea are often associated with incorrect understanding of sexual physiological phenomena, which can lead to psychological stress. Every time these phenomena occur, tension can occur. These negative psychological states can interfere with endocrine and uterine spasms, exacerbating menstrual instability and dysmenorrhea symptoms. The current situation of sexual morality among high school students. Although only 4 males (3.77% of the surveyed males) had sexual behavior in this survey, some found that although they were young, their sexual behavior was more casual and lacked the necessary awareness of sexual morality and self-control.
