Sexual Health
Five drugs may cause frigidity, and five diseases are also the root causes of frigidity
We believe we know that many people may experience sexual apathy in a certain situation, but what exactly is the reason for the occurrence of sexual apathy? After learning about it, I found out that there is a certain correlation between this and some drugs. So, what are these drugs?
5 drugs may cause frigidity
1. Diuretics: dihydro chlorothiazide, cyclopentamethiazide, chlorothiazide, furosemide, diuretic acid, spironolactone, etc., can cause decreased libido and insufficient sexual excitement.
2. Antitumor drugs: cyclophosphamide, nitrogen mustard, marilan, vincristine, methylbenzylhydrazine, methotrexate, etc., can cause loss of libido and ovulation inhibition.
3. Hormonal drugs: glucocorticoids such as cortisol, prednisone, and dexamethasone, as well as androgens such as methyltestosterone, testosterone propionate, and norolone, can lead to decreased libido and abnormal ovulation.
4. Antianaphylactic drugs: Flucizine, a dopamine blocker such as diphenhydramine, Feiqigen, chlorpheniramine, and acetaminophen, has decreased libido, sexual excitement, vaginal dryness, pain during sexual intercourse, and orgasm suppression.
5. Blood pressure lowering drugs such as methyldopa, guanidine, combined with benzodiazine, reserpine, amlodipine, meglumine, clonidine, and azosin can cause decreased libido, decreased sexual excitement, and loss of orgasm.
Five diseases are also the root cause of frigidity
1. Diabetes
Diabetes causes frigidity, which is mainly caused by complications. Vascular lesions in diabetes reduce vaginal secretions, reduce lubrication, dry painful neuropathy during sexual intercourse reduces the sensitivity of nerve endings in the vaginal wall, and infectious diseases of vagina and urinary system are also common in diabetes women who are difficult to cause orgasm, which has a negative impact on the sexual life of patients.
Experts suggest that women with sexual dysfunction should be examined for diabetes.
2. Thyroid disease
The thyroid gland is an endocrine organ that secretes thyroid hormone and directly controls the secretion of female testosterone. When thyroid function decreases, thyroid hormone secretion decreases, testosterone also decreases, and sexual enthusiasm decreases. When hyperthyroidism occurs, thyroid function increases, thyroid hormone increases, norepinephrine, dopamine, 5-hydroxytryptamine, acetylcholine and other changes weaken the ability to regulate the performance of control. At the same time, too much thyroid hormone inhibits the secretion of pituitary gonadotropin, menstrual disorders, amenorrhea. Therefore, women with frigid sex should go to the hospital in time to check thyroid function.
