Five early manifestations of prostatitis
1. Urination discomfort:
Bladder irritation can occur, such as frequent urination, burning urethra during urination, pain, and radiation to the head of the penis. In the early morning, there are secretions such as mucus at the urethral orifice, and there is also a feeling of difficulty urinating;
2. Local symptoms:
Discomfort at the posterior urethra, perineum, and anus due to sagging and swelling, as well as increased pain from squatting, defecation, and prolonged sitting on chairs and stools;
3. Radiation pain:
The pain of chronic prostatitis is not limited to the urethra and perineum, but also radiates to the vicinity. The following types of low back pain are most common. The penis, spermatic cord, testicular scrotum, lower abdomen, inguinal region (thigh root), thigh, rectum, and other places may be affected;
4. Sexual dysfunction:
Chronic prostatitis can cause decreased libido and pain in ejaculation, premature ejaculation, and affect semen quality. After urination or during defecation, there may also be white discharge from the urethral orifice, and when combined with seminal vesiculitis, there may be blood semen;
5. Other symptoms:
Chronic prostatitis can be associated with neurasthenia, exhibiting fatigue, dizziness, insomnia, etc. Chronic prostatitis can even cause allergic reactions in the body, including conjunctivitis, arthritis, and other diseases.
There are several predisposing factors for the occurrence of prostatitis
1: Prostate congestion. Congestion caused by various reasons, especially passive congestion, is an important pathogenic factor for prostatitis. The condition that causes congestion is common: abnormal sexual activity. Excessive sexual activity and forced interruptions can cause abnormal hyperemia of the prostate. However, excessive sexual abstinence can also cause passive congestion. Direct compression of the perineum. Cycling, horseback riding, prolonged sitting, and so on can lead to repeated perineal injuries and prostate congestion. An unhealthy lifestyle. According to the theory of traditional Chinese medicine, bad habits such as excessive drinking and gluttony for greasy food can easily lead to endogenous dampness and heat, which accumulate in the reproductive organs and cause congestion and sexual excitement.
2: Urine irritation. Urine contains a variety of acidic and alkaline chemicals. When patients have local neuroendocrine disorders that cause excessive pressure in the posterior urethra and damage to the opening of the prostate tube, stimulating chemicals such as uric acid can flow back into the prostate, causing chronic prostatitis.
3: Infection by pathogenic microorganisms. Various microorganisms such as bacteria, protozoa, fungi, and viruses can become the source of infection causing prostatitis, among which bacteria are the most common, such as gonococcal and non gonococcal.
