Diagnostic points for azoospermia
If no sperm is found after more than 3 semen tests, it can be diagnosed as this disease.
If necessary, testicular biopsy, seminal tract imaging, endocrine hormone radioimmunoassay, etc. can be performed to assist in identifying obstructive azoospermia or congenital azoospermia.
Differential analysis of azoospermia
Azoospermia is often caused by congenital deficiency, weak endowment, loss of kidney essence, and decline of vital energy; Or due to acquired disorders, excessive deficiency, spleen dysfunction, and lack of source of essence and blood; Excessive dampness and heat, stasis, and obstruction of the seminal tract; Or first suffering from mumps, the epidemic toxin of Shaoyang flows down to Jueyin, while the remaining toxin lingers, making it difficult for sperm to reproduce and leading to azoospermia.
The first step in syndrome differentiation is to distinguish between deficiency and excess. Deficiency syndrome is often caused by kidney deficiency, often accompanied by decreased libido, impotence, premature ejaculation, low back pain, and weak knees. Empirical evidence is often caused by stasis and heat, often accompanied by normal or hyperactive libido, testicular swelling and pain, and hematospermia. The overall treatment focuses on tonifying the kidneys and replenishing essence, clearing heat and resolving blood stasis.
Syndrome differentiation and treatment of azoospermia
Kidney deficiency type
【 Evidence 】 Absperm, infertility, small and soft testicles, decreased libido, impotence and premature ejaculation; Low back pain and weak knees, dizziness and tinnitus, sweating and night sweating, insomnia and palpitations. The tongue is reddish in color, with thin and white fur and weak veins.
【 Treatment 】 Tonify the kidney and replenish essence.
Prescriptions and Medicines
1. Zhufang Jujing Tang
Prescription: 10 grams of fish bladder, 10 grams of placenta, 3 grams of deer antler (melted separately), 20 grams of cooked Rehmannia glutinosa, 10 grams of Shayuanzi, 15 grams of Polygonum multiflorum, 12 grams of Cornus officinalis, 12 grams of Angelica sinensis, and 15 grams of white peony. Boil twice in water and take two doses, one dose per day.
2. Traditional Chinese patent medicines and simple preparations
(1) Seven Treasure Beauty Beard Pill, taken orally, 9 grams each time, 3 times a day.
(2) Sheng Sui Yu Lin Dan, taken orally, 9 grams each time, 3 times a day.
(3) Qi Ju Di Huang Wan, taken orally, 9 grams each time, 3 times a day.
3. Unilateral verification
(1) Qiyuan Nourishing Essence Soup
Prescription: 10g of Fructus Broussonensis, 15g of Chinese Yam, 10g of Goji berry, 15g of Poria cocos, 10g of Achyranthes bidentata, 15g of Polygonum multiflorum, 10g of Peach kernel, 15g of Radix Pseudostellariae, 10g of Walnut kernel, 20g of Rehmannia glutinosa, 10g of Cornus officinalis, 10g of Atractylodes macrocephala, 10g of Raspberry, 10g of Polygonatum odoratum, 10g of Ligustrum lucidum, and 3g of raw licorice. Boiled in water, 1 dose per day.
Also use testicular topical medication: 30g of cockscomb flower, 20g of broussonetia fruit, 20g of orange seed, and 30g of caulis spatholobi gum, all finely ground. Boil water with transparent bone grass and mix the medicinal powder into a paste, apply it to the testicles, and apply it every night before going to bed. This method is discontinued after 4 months of continuous use with internal medication. The following year, as per the rule of law, I will take one month off medication and wait for my wife to conceive for a few more months. Stasis heat type
【 Evidence 】 Have a history of testicular trauma or a history of parotitis orchitis. Azoospermia, infertility, normal testicular size, low back pain, perineal pain, testicular pain, normal or hyperactive libido, white urine droplets, residual urine, and blood and semen. The tongue edge is pointed red, and the pulse is smooth.

(1) Huoxue Siwu Wan, taken orally, 9 grams each time, 3 times a day.
(2) Compound Danshen tablets, taken orally, 4 tablets each time, 3 times a day.
(3) Sanqi powder, taken orally, 3 grams each time, taken with boiled water.
3. Modified Formula for Promoting Blood Circulation and Tongluo Decoction
