Clinical Research Conference on the Treatment of Chronic Hepatitis B with Kidney Tonifying and Exorcism Removing Methods Held in Wuhan

On June 9th, a clinical research conference on the treatment of chronic hepatitis B with the method of tonifying the kidney and eliminating pathogenic factors was held in Wuhan. The meeting was chaired by Vice President Liu Jianzhong, and Professor Sun Shulun and 23 experts from 14 cooperative units across the country were invited to attend. Professor Wang Boxiang from the Liver Disease Research Institute, Director Sheng Guoguang, and all members of the research group attended the meeting.

At the meeting, Dean Deng Xiaochuan delivered a welcoming speech, expressing a warm welcome and heartfelt gratitude to the attending leaders and experts. Vice President Ba Yuanming summarized the meeting. Professor Sun Shulun gave an important speech, thanking Professor Wang Boxiang and other older generation experts for laying a solid foundation for the cause of traditional Chinese medicine liver disease and making outstanding contributions to the clinical research base of traditional Chinese medicine in Hubei. He further emphasized the importance and role of fully understanding the clinical research base of traditional Chinese medicine, and the need to strengthen quality management and supervision "all staff, all process, and all". He hopes that the implementation of this project can cultivate a group of clinical research talents of traditional Chinese medicine. Professor Wang Boxiang warmly congratulated the successful launch ceremony of this project and expressed that the Journal of Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine will continue to make contributions to the base.

Chief physician Li Xiaodong introduced the clinical research plan for the treatment of chronic hepatitis B with the method of tonifying the kidney and eliminating pathogenic factors. Professor He Liyun from the China Academy of Chinese Medical Sciences made a wonderful report on "problems related to the quality of program implementation", and Wen Tiancai senior engineer conducted training on "central randomization system and data management system". Dr. Wu Huikun gave a detailed introduction to the implementation plan of the central laboratory project.

The attending experts had a heated discussion and provided many valuable suggestions for this topic. The hospital has successfully signed cooperation agreements with 14 sister units.
