Prostatitis refers to inflammation of prostate tissue.
1. Acute bacterial prostatitis
The main pathogenic factor of bacterial prostatitis is Escherichia coli, followed by Staphylococcus aureus, Klebsiella pneumoniae, Proteus, Pseudomonas, etc., and most of them are single pathogenic bacteria. Bacteria or other pathogens infect the prostate and grow rapidly and multiply in large numbers, most of which are hematogenous infection and transurethral retrograde infection.
2. Chronic bacterial prostatitis
The main pathogenic factor is the retrograde infection of pathogens. The main pathogens are Staphylococcus, followed by Escherichia coli, Corynebacterium and Enterococcus. Prostate calculus and urine reflux may be important reasons for the persistence of pathogens and recurrence of infection.
3. Inducing factors of prostatitis
The important inducements for the onset of prostatitis include: smoking, drinking, eating spicy food, inappropriate sexual activities, long-term hyperemia of the prostate caused by sitting for a long time, and long-term chronic compression, cold, fatigue of pelvic floor muscles, which lead to the decline of body resistance or specific physique.
clinical manifestation:
1. Acute bacterial prostatitis
The onset is sudden, with chills and high fever, accompanied by frequent urination, urgency, pain in urination and perineal pain. Dyuria or acute urinary retention occurs. The rectal digital examination showed that the prostate was swollen and full, the tenderness was obvious, the local temperature was increased, and the patients with abscess had wave sensation. Acute pyelonephritis can occur simultaneously with hematogenous infection.
2. Chronic bacterial prostatitis
Chronic bacterial prostatitis has recurrent symptoms of lower urinary tract infection, such as frequent urination, urgency of urination, pain in urination, burning sensation in urination, difficulty in urination, retention of urine, and distension and discomfort in the anal perineum area of the posterior urethra. The duration is more than 3 months.
