What should be noticed after circumcision?

1. Friction must be avoided after circumcision. Exercise such as cycling has a great impact on postoperative recovery. "You cannot drink alcohol, eat spicy food, fish, beef, lamb, seafood, and other foods.".
2. Try to avoid sexual stimulation and fantasy after circumcision to prevent penis erection. Of course, doctors will prescribe some medication to prevent erections for patients, but if sexual stimulation cannot be controlled, it is still possible that erections can lead to wound rupture or delay wound healing.
3. After circumcision, after the anesthetic effect subsides, the wound will have slight pain and swelling. You should take medicine regularly, usually in three days, the symptoms will subside, and the wound will heal in seven to ten days. Before the wound heals, regular follow-up and reexamination should be conducted according to the doctor's instructions. In addition, the wound should be kept clean and dry after surgery. Please be careful not to wet the gauze when urinating. If the gauze is soaked in urine, you can first remove the gauze and then return to the clinic for dressing changes.
4. Generally speaking, one week after circumcision, normal life is basically restored, but because of the high sensitivity of glans penis, there will be a short-term sense of unnatural, but it will disappear about two weeks after the operation. After 2 to 4 weeks of surgery, normal sexual activity can begin.
