After the foreskin operation, there was edema and bleeding. Let me teach you how to avoid it
Many patients are worried about edema and bleeding after undergoing foreskin surgery. What should I do? How can I avoid it?
To be honest, edema and bleeding of the penis after circumcision are not common in every patient, but if they occur, they are also common symptoms. This has nothing to do with the surgical method, and it has nothing to do with the skill of the doctor. It has a great relationship with the individual differences of each person.
Why is there edema and bleeding
Usually, edema and bleeding are caused by abundant blood circulation at the frenulum of the foreskin, the blood vessels and lymphatic vessels of the skin are cut off after surgery, and a new reflux pathway is established, resulting in poor reflux.
Why is there edema and bleeding
This has led to the emergence of some people who can still bounce around after circumcision surgery (of course, jumping too much requires enduring great pain), while others begin to suffer from edema and bleeding within 3 to 4 days after surgery.
But don't worry——
Over time, as collateral circulation builds up, this situation gradually disappears and returns to normal. Generally, the normal situation can be achieved in about 3 weeks, but it may also be delayed to about 3 months, depending on the individual. How can I avoid this situation, or what should I do if it already exists?
Put forward six requirements
Be careful not to have your penis erect! Because it will open the wound!
Pay attention to taking anti-inflammatory drugs or infusion! Avoid infection!
Do not contact the wound with liquid and try not to bathe before removing the thread!
Once the blood penetrates the excipients (i.e., gauze), it is necessary to change the dressing!
Don't remove yourself from the gauze! Don't get the gauze wet!
After 3 days of operation, severe redness, itching, and bleeding appear. Please go to the hospital for reexamination immediately!
