"Beauty rolls a bead curtain, sits deep and frowns on her eyebrows. But when tears are wet, she doesn't know who she hates." In ancient China, tears were often used as a symbol of female charm, but recent research has shown that women's tears can reduce men's interest in them. According to a recent paper published in the journal Science, women's tears contain exogenous hormones, which, although "inaudible," can still stimulate men's brains and reduce their libido.
Researchers at the Wiseman Institute of Science in Israel selected six women from 60 volunteers to watch a "tear gas" movie in a club. Scientists collected tears from their faces and asked 24 men to sniff them. The second group of women used salt water instead of tears to make men smell them.
As a result, the men who participated in the experiment said that the two groups of "tears" smelled the same. But when photos of the two groups of women were presented to the men, 17 of them believed that the first group of women was not as attractive as the second group.
Do you remember the difference? The tears of the first group of women smelled by men were real tears, so the "charm value" of the first group of women in the eyes of men decreased.
