Will frequent sex lead to male infertility? What are the common causes of male infertility
Traditionally, infertility is a matter for women. In fact, the man will also have infertility, so it is not necessarily the woman's reason that the husband and wife have not conceived a child for a long time. It is probably the man's reason. There are many reasons for male infertility. Among them, excessive sexual life is also the main factor of male infertility.
Too frequent sex can lead to male infertility
According to survey data, 70% of men have excessive sexual activity, especially newlyweds. Even some couples throw things to maintain a high frequency of sexual life during the diagnosis and treatment of infertility, which is more likely to make their wives pregnant, but in fact, frequent sexual life will lead to male infertility and want to have children, so many people ignore this point.
Generally, normal men ejaculate 1~6 ml during sexual intercourse, with a total number of sperm more than 50 million. 70% of sperm have normal activity, but only 1%~5% reach the uterine cavity. Finally, only one sperm combines with the egg to become a fertilized egg. This shows that the elimination rate of sperm is very high.
If couples have sex too often, sperm supply is in short supply and quality is poor, which will affect fertilization. In addition, sperm, as an antigenic substance, frequently stimulates women, which will make women continuously produce anti-sperm antibodies, which can make sperm agglutinate or lose vitality, and directly affect fertilization. It can be seen that excessive sexual life is often different from desire.
What are the common causes of male infertility?
1. Smoking and drinking
Research shows that men who smoke more than 31 cigarettes a day or more than 10 years have significantly decreased sperm number and sperm vitality, and doubled abnormal sperm. Alcohol is a gonadal toxin. Drinking too much alcohol can cause gonadal poisoning, male testicular injury, testicular atrophy, decreased reproductive function, decreased testosterone level in blood, sperm damage, deformity, reduction, dysplasia, decreased activity, induced ED, and no ejaculation
2. Human obesity
In recent years, the incidence of obesity has increased year by year, which has become a social problem affecting people's physical and mental health. Obese people have no obvious self-conscious symptoms in the early stage, but there are many hidden dangers, especially male obesity will affect the development of testicles, penis and other reproductive systems. Its pathogenesis is that adipose tissue converts male hormones into estrogen, which reduces male hormones in men and increases estrogen relatively, hinders sperm production and affects sperm quality. Obese people can also induce hypertension and diabetes, which can cause physiological dysfunction.
