Why do women suffer from abdominal pain during sexual intercourse? What are the methods to avoid abdominal pain
Abdominal pain is a common phenomenon with many causes, which is also an abnormal phenomenon. Especially during sexual activity, some women may experience abdominal pain. We need to identify the cause and promptly adjust.
What is abdominal pain during sexual intercourse in women
1. Physiological pain: During sexual intercourse, the twitching of the male penis can cause severe stimulation to the female vagina, abdominal cavity, and pelvic organs. Women may experience shortness of breath and involuntary contraction of the entire body, all of which can cause pain. But due to sexual excitement masking pain, pain often manifests after sexual intercourse, which is the most common situation. Abdominal pain after sexual intercourse can be tolerated and resolved on its own. Some people catch a cold after sexual intercourse, such as blowing a fan and experiencing paroxysmal pain in the lower abdomen.
2. Inappropriate sexual position: Male penis is too long, excessive force during sexual intercourse, and inappropriate sexual position. This situation should be avoided as there are many hazards, and in severe cases, it can endanger the lives of women.
3. Rectal pain: In sexual life, the muscles of levator ani, pubococcygeal, puborectal and rectal sphincter contract. When reaching the climax, the anal sphincter contracts regularly, lasting for about 8 to 10 seconds. The activity of the sphincter provides an afferent stimulus. If there is a lesion at the junction of rectal mucosa and skin, such as anal sinusitis, pain will occur. The fundamental treatment for this type of pain is to treat primary diseases of the anus and rectum, which can be treated with methods such as surgery.
4. Abdominal or Pelvic Lesions: In women, there is a lesion in the abdominal or pelvic area itself. During sexual intercourse, the male has rough movements, the penis is extracted too quickly or too deeply, or inserted too deeply. The penis impacts the affected area, causing pain.
5. Uterine contractions: Many pregnant women often experience abdominal pain after sexual activity. Male semen contains various prostaglandins, which are absorbed by the female vaginal mucosa during sexual intercourse and produce reactions. Avoid uterine contractions, frequent sexual activity, wearing condoms during sexual intercourse, avoiding contact between semen and vaginal mucosa, and avoiding abdominal pain and miscarriage caused by strong uterine contractions.
6. Improper strength position: Men are too rough during sexual intercourse, while women experience a sharp increase in abdominal pressure. The uterus, rectum, and bladder are compressed by gravity, and the intestinal tract is retrograde, causing abdominal pain. When using a female upper position, organs such as the uterus and appendages are prone to positional changes, which can have a stimulating effect on surrounding tissues and cause lower abdominal and lower back pain. This pain usually disappears with the end of sexual activity.
