Why do women experience pain during sexual intercourse? Be wary of drugs causing female sexual pain
Pain during sexual intercourse is an abnormal phenomenon, especially among female friends, which often occurs for many reasons. It is not only due to psychological factors, but also directly related to the disease situation, and must be reasonably prevented.
The causes of pain during sexual intercourse in women
1. Male overexertion or improper posture: Men are too rough during sexual intercourse, and female abdominal pressure increases sharply. The uterus, rectum, and bladder are compressed by gravity, and the intestinal tract is retrograde, causing abdominal pain. When using a female upper position, organs such as the uterus and appendages are prone to positional changes, which can have a stimulating effect on surrounding tissues and cause lower abdominal and lower back pain. This pain usually disappears with the end of sexual activity.
2. Long duration of sexual activity: Persistent sexual impulses may lead to long-term pelvic congestion, as well as pelvic congestion syndrome and abdominal pain in women. Properly changing the position during sexual activity, such as lying on the side, can help prevent pelvic congestion and alleviate symptoms.
3. The physiological structure of women itself, with the urethra and bladder bottom close to the vagina, and the uterus and appendages more closely related to the vagina, is easily stimulated by external pressure and biological factors. When sexual organs become congested, pelvic tissue undergoes a certain degree of stress response, causing contraction and spasms, leading to abdominal pain. This situation often occurs in people who have sex for the first time and can gradually alleviate in the future.
4. Pain during sexual intercourse in pregnant women is often caused by semen: Prostaglandins in semen cause uterine contractions in women, especially after pregnancy, which not only causes abdominal pain, but may also lead to premature birth and miscarriage. Therefore, it is necessary to control the room during pregnancy. Some women are allergic to male semen and condoms, causing systemic allergies and allergic abdominal pain. Changing contraceptive methods will prevent abdominal pain from occurring again.
5. Pelvic inflammation: Vaginitis, cervicitis, pelvic inflammation, etc., persistent pain in the lower abdomen of women, and exacerbation of local congestion due to sexual stimulation. This pathological symptom is easily distinguishable from the previous few, that is, the pain persists for a long time and does not ease with the end of sexual activity. Women who go to the hospital for gynecological examinations can also determine the cause.
6. Rupture of the corpus luteum: When mature follicles and corpus luteum are compressed or vibrated, they suddenly rupture, causing abdominal pain and bleeding. This condition requires timely medical attention.
7. Vaginal infection: Vaginitis can also cause pain during sexual intercourse, and the pain will worsen one day after sexual intercourse. Women with this issue also need to undergo a check-up.
