When is the best time to take out the ring? Pay attention to selecting the appropriate time for taking out the ring
Many women use Intrauterine device for contraception, and the contraceptive rate reaches 99.9%. However, many things must be paid attention to when obtaining the ring, which can prevent damage to the body.
What should women pay attention to when taking an IUD?
1. Before ring removal
Go to a regular hospital for examination of vaginal discharge, blood, and ultrasound before removing the IUD. Do not eat any food within 4 hours before surgery. Women with amenorrhea should take a week of tonic before surgery. Three days before surgery, one cannot have sex, bathe, or prevent infection. On the day of surgery, the external genitalia should be cleaned, and toilet paper and tissue should be worn. Take out the Intrauterine device after 3-7 days of clean menstruation. Before surgery, body temperature must be measured, and rings must not be obtained when the temperature exceeds 37.5 ℃.
2. After removing the ring
After removing the ring, one must observe their physical condition. When abdominal pain, fever, or increased bleeding occurs, seek medical attention immediately. After washing, you should rest for a day, then get out of bed and engage in activities. Do not engage in strenuous activities. After removing the ring, sexual intercourse is not allowed for two weeks and bathing is prohibited. To take contraceptive measures, wash the external genitalia with water every night and never directly scrape the vagina with your hands. After taking the ring, you should eat more blood enriching foods such as red dates, angelica, ass hide glue.
3. Choose an appropriate ring removal time
The time for women of childbearing age to have their IUD removed should be 3-5 days after their menstrual cycle is clean, preferably one year or six months in advance. For menopausal women, it is necessary to have the IUD removed within six months to one year after menopause. If it is too early or too late, it can have an impact on the body. If the deadline for IUD removal has expired or there is obvious discomfort in the body, it should be removed in a timely manner.
4. Can't cohabit too early
The removal of an intrauterine device can have an impact on the endometrium, and sexual activity immediately after removal can cause harm to the uterus and endometrium. If pregnant, it is also not conducive to the growth and development of the fetus. Try to consider getting pregnant after obtaining an IUD for six months. Because the body has fully recovered at this time, it is generally recommended to go to the hospital for examination after 2-3 menstrual cycles. Pregnancy should only be considered after the endometrium has fully recovered.
5. Pay attention to diet
After removing the ring, it is necessary to eat more food containing high-quality protein, and also eat more blood nourishing foods, such as black beans, red dates, longans, and brown sugar. Eat less spicy, cold, and other stimulating foods to provide sufficient nutrition for the body. Pay attention to balanced nutrition and a light and easily digestible diet.
