External contraceptive film
The external contraceptive film has a strong spermicidal effect, with a contraceptive effectiveness rate of over 96%. Before engaging in sexual activity, fold a contraceptive film twice to its original quarter size, or knead the film into a soft ball, then use your fingers to push it into the deep vagina near the cervix. If you feel the medication film sticking to your fingers, you can rotate it inside the vagina. After removing the medication film from your fingers, push it deep into the vagina and let it sit for 5 minutes. Once the medication film deepens, sexual intercourse can begin.
Reminder: It is prohibited for those who are allergic to the drug film or suspected malignant tumors of the reproductive tract, as well as those with severe cervical erosion and irregular vaginal bleeding.
External contraceptive pills
Before using external contraceptive pills, wash your hands thoroughly, then use your fingers to push the pills into the deep part of the vagina, close to the cervix, and wait for 5-10 minutes. Once the pills are fully deepened, sexual intercourse can begin. If the pill is inserted into the vagina for more than half an hour after sexual intercourse, or if there is no ejaculation within half an hour after sexual intercourse, an additional pill needs to be inserted to ensure contraceptive effectiveness. After 6 to 8 hours of sexual intercourse, the external genitalia can be cleaned with warm water.

External contraceptive suppository
This external contraceptive method is somewhat similar to contraceptive pills. Before use, peel off a layer of tin or wax paper from the outside, and slowly push it (pointed forward) into the deep part of the vagina with your fingers. After 5-10 minutes, wait for all the contraceptive suppositories to dissolve before sexual intercourse begins. Because the suppository is oily and easy to damage the rubber, it should not be used together with the vaginal diaphragm and the penis sleeve.
Reminder: It is also not suitable for patients with vaginitis, uterine prolapse, severe cervical erosion, and vaginal relaxation.
External contraceptive ointment
External contraceptive ointment is a semi transparent paste containing 0.09 grams of phenylmercury acetate per 100 grams, with a specification of 50 grams packed into a plastic tube. It can kill sperm and is harmless to human body. It has better contraceptive effect when used with vaginal septum and condom, and can also play a role of lubrication during sexual intercourse.
