What's wrong with using a condom and getting pregnant? Contraceptive failure may be due to neglecting these points
So far, condoms are the best contraceptive method, with a high contraceptive rate and the ability to prevent the spread of sexually transmitted diseases. But many young couples still unexpectedly get pregnant after using condoms, what is the matter.
What are the reasons for condom contraception failure?
1. The model used is incorrect
In fact, condoms also come in a certain model and size, and most men do not pay attention to the choice of model. If it is too large, it may fall off during sexual activity and cause contraceptive failure, while if it is too small, it may cause condom breakage.
2. Condom rupture
Most couples do not carefully inspect the condom before using it, and if there are any leaks, it will inevitably lead to contraceptive failure. In addition, excessive amplitude during sexual activity, accidental tearing of condoms by decorations or nails, etc., can cause condom rupture, thereby increasing the risk of unintended pregnancy. Before each use, the appearance of the condom should be observed first. If the condom deteriorates or becomes sticky, it should not be used and should be discarded immediately. Then use the method of blowing air to check if there are any cracks in the condom. In addition, when opening the condom packaging, do not tear or scratch the condom.
3. Wearing condoms at the wrong time
Many couples only wear condoms when they are about to ejaculate in pursuit of a more sexual experience, but this actually does not have a good contraceptive effect. During the process of penis twitching, a portion of sperm will follow the urethra into the female body, leading to pregnancy.
4. No air discharged
Most men do not have the good habit of expelling sharp air when using condoms. The front end of a condom can store semen. If the air is not squeezed out, it will reduce the limited space and cause excessive pressure in the sac after discharge, leading to condom rupture or slipping. At this time, sperm will flow back, leading to unexpected pregnancy. Before each use, gently pinch the front end of the condom with your fingers to squeeze out the air.
5. Take off the condom too early
Many men will quickly remove their condoms after their sexual life is completely over. However, some semen stored on the penis may enter the female body and cause conception.
6. Didn't see the front and back of Chu clearly
Many young couples may mistake the front and back of a condom, making it uncomfortable to wear and prone to slipping during sexual activity, thereby increasing the chance of unintended pregnancy.
