What should be noted during the use of condoms? What are the reasons for contraceptive failure
Condoms (also known as condoms, sanitary condoms, and condoms, sometimes referred to as condoms in the Ma Xin region) are used in non pharmacological forms to prevent pregnancy, mainly during sexual intercourse to prevent the combination of human sperm and eggs and prevent pregnancy. In addition, condoms can also prevent the spread of gonorrhea, AIDS (HIV) and other sexually transmitted diseases, so they are also called condoms. At present, condoms are usually made of natural rubber or polypropylene ester. As a contraceptive tool, condoms are more convenient to use and have no side effects compared to other contraceptive methods. The success rate of contraception is generally 97%, and specially trained users can achieve a success rate of 98%.
Packaging: The outer packaging should include at least the set specifications (color, tip shape, etc.), nominal width, manufacturer, wholesaler or seller's name, expiration date, manufacturer's reference mark (batch number, etc.), storage guide, set model, etc.
Time: Some people believe that the fresher the condom, the better. Actually, it's not the case. The newly produced condom is stored in a sealed packaging after adding lubricant, and the chemical properties of the latex at this time determine its poor elasticity and texture. Generally speaking, after six months to a year of storage, the latex and lubricant have a certain degree of physical and chemical reaction, and at this time, the texture and elasticity of the condom have reached their optimal state.
Generally speaking, condoms that have been shipped for 1-2 years are the most comfortable to use. Condoms that have been shipped for more than 3 years are prone to becoming brittle and have a slightly astringent texture. At the same time, the lubricant added inside is almost absorbed by the latex, greatly reducing the lubrication effect.
Precautions for using condoms
1. Couples who use the insurance kit for contraception are advised to prepare one or two anti pregnancy drugs to prevent hand weakness, confusion, and mental tension after the insurance kit ruptures.
2. The combination of a condom and contraceptive cream is beneficial, as even if the condom ruptures, the contraceptive cream can still act as a contraceptive.
Why does a condom come off inside the vagina?
There are two reasons why condoms fall off inside the vagina: one is that the condoms used are too large; The second reason is that the male partner did not timely extract the penis and condom from the vagina after ejaculation, causing the penis to contract and cause the condom to fall off.
What is the reason for the failure to use a condom? How can we avoid it?
1. Accidental rupture during sexual intercourse: for example, nails and rings with excessive sexual activity accidentally cut off ultra-thin condoms.
2. The model of the condom is not suitable. A condom that is too large or too small can easily fall off or rupture during sexual intercourse, causing semen to flow into the vagina.
3. The condom was not carefully inspected before use, resulting in the use of a condom with a leak.
4. Before wearing a condom, the air in the small sac at the front end of the condom was not squeezed out, resulting in an increase in pressure inside the sac after ejaculation, causing the condom to rupture and semen to flow out.
5. After ejaculation, before the penis softens and contracts, the condom and penis are pulled out of the vagina together. After the penis softens and contracts, semen overflows into the vagina between the penis and the condom.
6. Some people are afraid that condoms may affect their sexual appeal. They do not wear condoms at the beginning of sexual intercourse and wait until they are about to ejaculate before reaching orgasm before pulling out the penis and wearing a condom, which will not have a contraceptive effect. Because men have a small amount of sperm flowing into the vagina with urethral mucus before ejaculation. Sometimes, even if the penis subjectively does not want to ejaculate before being pulled out of the vagina, a small amount of semen may unknowingly ejaculate, leading to contraceptive failure.
7. Improper use of lubricants: Apply mineral oil and vegetable oil, such as Vaseline or regular moisturizer, to the surface of the condom, and observe for 5 minutes to weaken the strength of the latex condom.
8. Improper storage: The condom will lose its strength when exposed to strong light, high heat, humidity, and ozone.
Therefore, choose a suitable model of condom, carefully check before use, master the correct usage method, and if the condom is found to have ruptured or fallen off in the vagina during use, stop sexual intercourse. Remove the condom from the vagina, replace it with a smaller size condom, and continue sexual intercourse. When a condom ejaculates or falls off after ejaculation, immediately remove the condom from the vagina to avoid contraceptive failure.
