What is the relationship between chronic prostatitis and spermatorrhea? Does frequent ejaculation cause chronic prostatitis
Chronic prostatitis is one of the common diseases of male adults, accounting for 25%~30% of the outpatient diseases of urology. Some may be asymptomatic, and some may cause recurrent or persistent symptoms of urogenital infection. According to the different causes, it can be divided into the following categories:
(1) Non-specific bacterial prostatitis can be divided into acute prostatitis and chronic prostatitis. The patient may have fever, general fatigue, lumbosacral and perineal pain, obvious pain when defecating, or milky liquid dripping from the urethral orifice. The main symptoms are frequent urination, urgency, pain in urination, dysuria, nocturnal urination, and even urinary retention.
(2) Idiopathic non-bacterial prostatitis is also called prostatic disease. Its clinical symptoms are basically similar to that of chronic prostatitis (bacterial). It often has no history of urinary tract infection, nor fever. Prostate fluid and segmented urine culture have no pathogenic microorganism growth, and other types of prostatitis can be excluded. It can be diagnosed as non-bacterial prostatitis. Due to the unclear etiology, treatment is very difficult, and antibiotics are ineffective.
(3) Non-specific granulomatous prostatitis is very rare in clinic. Finger-anal examination is easy to be confused with prostate cancer. The age of onset is mostly between 50 and 60 years old. It shows symptoms of lower urinary tract infection and bladder outlet obstruction. Finger-anal examination shows that the prostate is often nodular, hardened and fixed. The diagnosis was based on prostate biopsy.
(4) Specific prostatitis includes prostatitis caused by gonorrhea, fungi and parasites (such as trichomonas).
(5) Prostatitis caused by other reasons, such as viral infection (mumps virus), mycoplasma infection, prostatitis caused by chlamydia infection, allergic prostatitis, prostate pain, prostate congestion, etc.
At present, the combination of traditional Chinese and western medicine for prostatitis is a relatively effective treatment. Traditional Chinese medicine treatment often adopts the method of combining disease and syndrome differentiation, combining urine test and bacterial culture, and routine test and bacterial culture of prostate fluid. For those who have pathogenic bacteria in bacterial culture, the clinical onset time is short, and have fever, thirst, urgency, frequency of urination, pain in urination, ejaculation and premature ejaculation symptoms, the syndrome differentiation of traditional Chinese medicine is mostly heat syndrome and positive syndrome; For those who have a long time of onset, clinical symptoms with chronic course or long-term treatment, and symptoms are not very prominent, traditional Chinese medicine syndrome differentiation is often considered as the deficiency syndrome of spermatorrhea.
The former is suitable for clearing and detoxifying, while the latter is suitable for warming, reinforcing and absorbing. Both can be added with drugs that promote blood circulation and remove blood stasis, such as peach kernel, safflower, red peony, salvia miltiorrhiza, vaccinia, draconia, etc. Its purpose is to improve the blood circulation of the prostate, promote the absorption and elimination of inflammation, and prevent the fibrosis of the prostate caused by blood viscosity. The modern research on spermatorrhea in Practical Internal Medicine of Traditional Chinese Medicine believes that promoting blood circulation and removing blood stasis is one of the most commonly used methods for treating chronic prostatitis and prostatic hyperplasia.
According to a hospital in Shanghai, 70 cases of chronic prostatitis were treated with traditional Chinese medicine. After 1 to 3 months of treatment, 28 cases were cured, 35 cases were improved, 4 cases were ineffective, and 3 cases were interrupted. The total effective rate was 90%. The hospital classifies chronic prostatitis into three types: damp-heat accumulation type, kidney-yin deficiency type and kidney-yang deficiency type? Distinguish between drinking and so on; Kidney-yin deficiency type is mainly characterized by white and turbid spermatorrhea, soreness in lower waist, perineum, upper pubic bone, groin and other parts, and Zhibai Dihuang pill, Chenxiang powder, Jinlingzi powder, etc; Kidney-yang deficiency type is mainly characterized by sexual dysfunction, which is manifested by impotence, premature ejaculation, slippery ejaculation, Yougui Pill, Heche Dacheng Pill, deer antler pill, etc.
