What is the most obvious feature of female AIDS?
AIDS is a systemic disease caused by HIV. There are no special clinical symptoms, and there is no gender difference in symptoms after infection. Similar symptoms can occur in both men and women. The main manifestations are various infections, including oral candidiasis, pulmonary tuberculosis, giant cell infections, etc. According to the different periods of HIV infection, different symptoms may occur:
1. Acute phase: some patients may have symptoms of Upper respiratory tract infection, such as fever, fatigue, sore throat and cough. A few patients may have nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, Arthralgia, headache, rash, Meningoencephalitis, acute polyneuritis or swollen lymph nodes or hepatosplenomegaly in the neck, armpit and pillow. After the acute phase, the symptoms will also disappear, similar to a cold, which may be overlooked;
2. Asymptomatic stage: usually asymptomatic, or it may be the general Lymphadenopathy. Most patients will enter this stage directly after reinfection, but some patients may enter this stage after the acute stage. During this period, except for AIDS antibody positive, most of them have no obvious symptoms;
3. AIDS period: It is the period of HIV attack, often without prominent symptoms, and may have long-term irregular low fever, persistent Lymphadenopathy, persistent diarrhea, rapid Weight loss, susceptibility to infection, dementia, lymphoma, epilepsy and other symptoms.
If a woman recently has high-risk sexual behavior or has close contact with AIDS patients and is accompanied by these symptoms, she should seek medical advice in time to achieve early detection, early diagnosis and early treatment.
