Sexual Health
What is the cause of hematuria after sexual activity? Two reasons can easily lead to hematuria during sexual activity
If hematuria occurs after sexual activity, we need to consider whether it is caused by urinary system diseases, and if it is caused by systemic diseases such as sepsis, leukemia, and heart failure, these symptoms can also be caused
There are many reasons for hematuria, including the following situations;
1. Urinary system diseases
Such as various nephritis (acute glomerulonephritis, viral nephritis, hereditary nephritis, purpura nephritis), stones (kidney, bladder, urethra), heart and kidney tuberculosis, various congenital malformations, trauma, tumors, etc.
2. Systemic diseases such as hemorrhagic diseases, leukemia, heart failure, sepsis, vitamin C and K deficiency, hypercalciuria, neonatal complications, etc
3. Physical and chemical factors such as food allergies, radiation exposure, drugs, toxins, post exercise, etc. In order to clarify the cause and determine the location of hematuria, it is very important to use the urine three cup test to understand the source of hematuria. The method is very simple
Take three cups, and in one urination, the first cup takes the anterior section of urine, the second cup takes the middle section of urine, and the third cup takes the posterior section of urine. If the first cup is hematuria, it indicates that blood comes from the urethra; The third cup of hematuria is terminal hematuria, with lesions mostly in the bladder or posterior urethra; The first, second, and third cups are all red in color, indicating complete hematuria, indicating that the lesion is in the kidneys or the urinary tract above the bladder.
It is necessary to clarify which disease is causing hematuria, or to conduct various experiential, X-ray, CT examinations, and even biopsy of the kidney based on symptoms and physical signs in order to diagnose it.
