Sperm vitality is mainly affected by the following aspects.
Age. Generally speaking, the vitality of male sperm changes in a parabola with the growth of age, and 20-40 years old is the best time for vitality, that is, the golden period of male fertility. After the age of 40, the sperm vitality of men decreases at a rate of 0.7% every year, and abnormal sperm increases. Over the age of 60, 85% of sperm may be abnormal.
Exercise. Research shows that male obesity will lead to the rise of inguinal temperature and damage sperm growth. Proper exercise can help improve sperm vitality, balance body hormone levels, especially maintain the secretion level of male hormones. However, vigorous exercise such as marathon and long-distance cycling may affect the growth environment of sperm.
Temperature. The habit of wearing tights, steaming sauna, taking a bath, and putting notebooks on your feet for a long time will lead to poor local heat dissipation, increased scrotal temperature, and decreased sperm production and vitality.
