What Emergencies Are Easily Occurred in Female Sexual Life? Precautions for Healthy Sexual Life for Women
Vaginal bleeding caused by Cervical polyp
It was a cold winter. That night, at around 2am, a 30-year-old woman accompanied by her husband went to the emergency department of the hospital. I saw the patient's face was pale, his breath was short, his voice was deep, and his limbs were cold. I knew at a glance that there was significant bleeding in a certain area. During the consultation process, his husband hesitated and was patiently inspired to understand all and all of the disease.
So this is this couple. Her husband just returned from a business trip last night. Due to not being together for more than ten days, the couple went to bed early. After the rain, his wife immediately went to the bathroom to wash. Suddenly, I noticed more and more vaginal bleeding, and filling it with a sanitary towel couldn't stop the bleeding. The patient fainted in the bathroom. Her husband saw that she hadn't returned to the room for so long, so he went to the bathroom and found his wife unconscious on the ground. He was immediately taken to the emergency department of the hospital. This is the gynecological emergency department. I immediately notified the obstetrician and gynecology doctor. With the help of the obstetrician and gynecology doctor, through a vaginal endoscopy, it was found that the patient's cervix had several polyps, such as the size of soybeans, and obvious bleeding points could be seen. After discussing with obstetricians and gynecology doctors, immediately enter the obstetrics and gynecology ward for emergency surgery.
Doctor's comments: Cervical polyp is a manifestation of chronic Cervicitis. There is a type of polyp root attached to the cervix or cervical canal, which is caused by inflammation and stimulates local hyperplasia of the cervical mucosa, protruding outward from the outer opening of the cervix. The surface of the polyp is covered with a layer of columnar epithelium, containing cervical glands, abundant microvessels in the stroma, loose connective tissue, and infiltration of inflammatory cells. This type of polyp can be single or multiple, usually small in size, less than 1 centimeter in diameter, shaped like a tongue, bright red in color, soft and fragile in texture, and prone to bleeding. Another kind of Cervical polyp occurs in the vagina of the cervix, covered with stratified squamous epithelium, and the stroma contains fibrous connective tissue. This type of polyp is located on the shallow surface, protruding towards the surface, with a wide base, a light red color, a tough texture, and less prone to bleeding. Generally, women who suffer from Cervical polyp have no special symptoms of discomfort. Sometimes there are more leucorrhea or leucorrhea with blood or bleeding after sex. For example, due to long-term differences in rooms, most patients should immediately go to the hospital for gynecological examination.
