Sexual Health
What diseases are associated with male genital infection? Five diseases are complications caused by genital infection
In order to maintain a normal sexual life, maintain a harmonious relationship between husband and wife, and prevent sexual dysfunction and infertility, it is very important for young men to pay attention to and prevent genital infection after marriage. Common male genital infection diseases include orchitis, urethritis, prostatitis, epididymitis, etc.
1. Orchitis
It is a variety of pathogenic bacteria and viruses caused by blood, lymphatic and vas deferens or testicular tract infection, of which orchitis caused by mumps is the most common. Mumps is an acute infectious disease caused by virus. It is easy for adults to suffer from mumps with orchitis. During the acute period, the patient showed redness, swelling and pain of scrotum skin, and obvious swelling feeling when walking. Improper treatment in the acute stage can turn into chronic orchitis. In the acute stage, you should rest in bed, raise the scrotum and apply hot compress, use antibiotics for treatment, and prohibit sexual life, otherwise it will aggravate the disease. After the treatment of orchitis, it will not affect the secretion of male hormones and sexual life.
2. Urethritis
Multiple retrograde infections, that is, the pathogenic bacteria directly invade the urethra. In the acute stage, the patients showed hyperemia and edema of the urethral mucosa, or formation of erosive ulcer, redness and swelling of the urethral orifice, mucus or purulent secretion, tenderness and rigidity of the urethra; The severe can affect the epididymis and spermatic cord. When sick, take proper rest, prohibit drinking and avoid sexual life. It is mainly treated with oral or intramuscular antibiotics.
3. Prostatitis
Urethritis spreads directly, and acute inflammation of other tissues and organs is infected by blood and lymph, which is a common disease in young and middle-aged men. Acute prostatitis is characterized by acute onset, general weakness, low back pain, discomfort in perineum and anus, accompanied by pain in urination, frequent urination, urgency in urination, hematuria, decreased libido, premature ejaculation, impotence, etc. After illness, we should pay attention to rest, drink more water, control sexual life, and adhere to antibiotic treatment.
4. Nonbacterial prostatitis
There are symptoms such as frequent urination, urgency of urination and sexual dysfunction, but no bacteria can be found in laboratory tests. It is mainly caused by factors such as excessive sexual life, excessive sexual excitement, and pelvic congestion caused by cycling. Such patients are usually treated with traditional Chinese medicine, hot water sitz bath and local massage.
5. Epididymitis
It is due to urethral stricture, prostatic hyperplasia, urethritis, tuberculosis and gonorrhea, which spread retrogradely. The testis is close to the posterolateral side of the testis, and is composed of the testicular tube that is bent and coiled back. It plays an important role in promoting sperm maturation, storing sperm, and absorbing decayed sperm. When the bilateral testis is diseased, it is sterile. The symptoms in the acute stage are swelling and pain of the scrotum, which can be involved in the lower abdomen and the root of the thigh, and it is inconvenient to walk. The treatment in the acute phase cannot completely become chronic orchitis, and the treatment in the acute phase must be complete. During treatment, the scrotum can be improved, local cooling can be achieved, and effective antibiotics and other symptomatic treatment methods can be selected.
No matter which part of the genitalia has symptoms, it will affect sexual life and even lead to infertility, so we should actively do prevention and treatment.
