Abnormal sperm disease refers to less than 50% of sperm in normal form, i.e. more than 50% of abnormal sperm in semen. Deformed sperm are morphological variations of the ventricles, body, and tail, with head deformities including megacephaly, amorphous, and biceps; Body deformities include bulky, cracked, incomplete body parts, etc; Tail deformities include curly tail, double tail, missing tail, etc
Etiology: The causes of abnormal sperm disease include:
1. Urinary and reproductive tract infections, orchitis complicated by parotitis, epididymal tuberculosis, varicocele, etc., all of which can affect the quality of sperm;
2. The use of hormones or certain chemical drugs, such as anticancer drugs, reserpine, marijuana, furans, etc., can cause immature sperm development; Irradiation of gonad can cause mutation of sperm;
3. Long term high fever in the scrotum and long-term alcoholism (especially high concentration of strong liquor) can distort spermatogenesis.
Treatment: When mycoplasma infection occurs in semen (semen culture), sperm motility decreases, sperm density decreases, and abnormal sperm increases. Using doxycycline can restore fertility. Please follow medical advice for usage and dosage. If the abnormal sperm exceeds 70%, chromosome examination should be performed.
