Warning: Male sperm may have other odors. One of the reasons for embarrassment in men and women's lives is the presence of odors in their private parts, and it is also noted that there may be defects in the reproductive organs. If male sperm has a foul odor, they may suffer from prostatitis and seminal vesiculitis, and they should go to the hospital for diagnosis and treatment immediately. When a male friend discovers a strange odor in their sperm after sexual activity, it may be a sign of illness. The odor of normal semen is called arginine, and the oxidized chemical emits a scent like chestnut flowers. If the sperm has a foul odor or odor, it may be caused by some diseases and must be noted.
Sperm odor is common in prostatitis and seminal vesiculitis, as arginine is one of the various components in prostate secretions. Arginine oxidation must combine the prostatic fluid secreted by the prostate with the seminal vesicle fluid when ejaculation is excited to give play to the smell together. It can be seen that the smell of normal ejaculate comes from prostatic fluid and seminal vesicle fluid, and problems with male prostate and seminal vesicles may change the smell of semen.
Common symptoms in patients with seminal vesiculitis
1. Patients with pink or red semen or blood clots, as well as patients with bloody urine. This phenomenon is more pronounced when seminal vesiculitis is in the acute phase.
2. Patients may experience systemic symptoms such as fear of cold and fever. When seminal vesiculitis is in the chronic stage, patients experience symptoms such as low libido, ejaculation, and premature ejaculation.
3. Patients may experience symptoms such as frequent urination, urgency, pain in urination, difficulty urinating, and burning sensation in the urethra.
4. Patients may experience symptoms such as lower abdominal pain and hidden pain in the suprapubic region. When seminal vesiculitis is in the acute phase, the pain caused can also affect the perineum and groin, and significantly worsen during ejaculation.
5. When patients with seminal vesiculitis undergo routine semen examination, the semen contains a large number of red and white blood cells. When patients with seminal vesiculitis who show positive semen bacterial culture undergo routine blood examination, the number of white blood cells in the blood significantly increases. Symptom screening for acute and chronic seminal vesiculitis: Symptoms of acute seminal vesiculitis include pain in the perineum, which can radiate to the groin, lumbosacral region, and pubic bone. Patients are accompanied by fever and elevated white blood cells, as well as nearby organ infections that cause abdominal pain. Patients also have residual semen and rapid swelling.
