What are the methods for diagnosing acute prostatitis? Only three cups of urine are needed to diagnose acute prostatitis
According to prostate experts, acute prostatitis should be treated and prevented with great caution. Experts from the Prostate Hospital said that acute prostatitis is a common disease in men. Because of blood infection or direct transmission, the prostate is invaded by bacteria and other pathogenic microorganisms, which rapidly congests, edema, exudes, and forms abscess. Even limited abscess is acute prostatitis. The incidence of blood infection is rapid, and urinary tract infection has obvious symptoms of urinary tract irritation.
After the onset of acute prostatitis, patients may have systemic symptoms such as fatigue, anorexia, nausea, vomiting, chills and fever; Pain in perineum or lower abdomen, radiating to the waist, lower abdomen, back and thigh; Frequency of urination, urgency of urination, pain of urination, dripping of urine, poor urination or interruption may occur during urination; Rectal distension and pain, fall, and urethral whitening during urination; And sexual pain and blood essence. If the above symptoms persist for more than a week, the body temperature is high but does not drop, and the blood picture is elevated, the formation of prostate abscess should be suspected.
With the above symptoms, the rectal digital examination shows that the prostate is slightly enlarged, with tension, local irregularity, induration, obvious tenderness, or local soft area (abscess), which can be diagnosed. Massaging the prostate in patients with acute prostatitis can cause bacteria to enter the blood and bacteremia, so it is not necessary to carry out prostate massage fluid extraction test.
However, if prostate fluid overflows during the examination and a large number of white cells or pus cells are found under the microscope, it is of diagnostic value. In addition, the routine urine examination of acute prostatitis can find inflammation. The urine is mostly alkaline, but blood infection can be normal. The urine three-cup test showed that the first cup had debris and pyuria; The second cup is clearer; The third cup is turbid.
