What are the hazards of gonorrhea?
1、 Causing urinary disorders or urinary accumulation. Urinary pain is mild, with only burning or slight pain in the urethra during urination, and terminal hematuria is common. Urine is generally transparent, but gonococcal filaments can be seen floating in it. Redness and swelling of the urethral opening, burning pain, and discharge of mucus and pus.
2、 Clinical manifestations show that males often experience itching, burning sensation, and pain in the urethra, sometimes with urgency and difficulty urinating. But the symptoms are generally milder than gonorrhea. The urethral opening is congested or red and swollen, with serous, mucopurulent, or white thin secretions, and there is a phenomenon of daily life when waking up in the morning.
3、 This disease can be transmitted through the birth canal, causing neonatal conjunctivitis, pneumonia, rhinitis, otitis media, and female vaginitis. The harm it brings to children is that pregnant women who suffer from gonorrhea and harm themselves and the fetus must be highly vigilant of women of childbearing age.
4、 Inducing infertility. Gonorrhea is a retrograde infection that infects the male prostate, seminal vesicles, and epididymis. If sperm abnormalities occur, it can lead to infertility. Women can infect the cervix, endometrium, fallopian tubes, etc., causing salpingitis, blocked fallopian tubes, and infertility.
Several characteristics of gonorrhea
The incubation period of gonorrhea is generally 2-10 days, with an average of 3-5 days. Gonorrhea is highly harmful and highly contagious, and its regeneration changes the color that many people smell. Therefore, we should learn more about the symptoms of some diseases in our daily lives, as there are existing diseases!
Male, with an incubation period of 2-14 days, usually caused by mild discomfort in the urethra, and after a few hours, urinary pain and purulent discharge lesions may spread to the posterior urethra, resulting in frequent and urgent urination. Examination revealed purulent yellow green urethral discharge, with a red and swollen urethral opening.
Women usually develop symptoms 7 to 12 days after infection, which are usually mild but sometimes severe, including painful urination, frequent urination, and vaginal discharge. The cervix and deeper reproductive organs are the most commonly infected areas, followed by the urethra, rectum, paraurethral duct, and vestibular gland. The cervix becomes red and brittle, accompanied by mucopurulent or purulent secretions. When compressing the pubic symphysis, pus can be squeezed out from the urethra, paraurethral duct, or vestibular gland. Salpingitis is a common complication.
