What are the common factors that can cause dysmenorrhea? What measures can be taken to stay away from dysmenorrhea
Dysmenorrhea is an abnormal condition that mainly occurs before and after menstruation in women. We need to understand the reasons for its occurrence and pay attention to prevention methods in daily life.
Factors that cause dysmenorrhea
1. Uterine factors. Cervical stenosis caused by uterine dysplasia, extreme anterior or posterior curvature of the uterus, can hinder blood flow; In addition, increased muscle activity in the uterus can lead to uterine muscle spasms or excessive tension, reduced uterine blood flow, uterine ischemia, and the occurrence of dysmenorrhea.
2. Neurological and neurotransmitter factors. According to Chen et al., laparoscopic anterior sacral sympathectomy is effective in treating primary dysmenorrhea. Its principle is to cut off nerve conduction from the cervix, uterus, and proximal fallopian tubes to the spine. This study confirms the role of nerves and neurotransmission in primary dysmenorrhea [3].
3. Endocrine factors. The synthesis and release of prostate in the endometrium and blood, as well as the increase in prolactin content, can stimulate the contraction of uterine muscles, causing them to be in a state of ischemia and hypoxia, causing pain. In addition, the increase of vasopressin and oxytocin also acts on uterine muscle cells, strengthening the contraction of arterial smooth muscle, reducing uterine blood flow, and exacerbating dysmenorrhea symptoms.
4. Emotional factors. Mental tension and mental depression are two important factors that cause primary dysmenorrhea. According to traditional Chinese medicine knowledge, emotional distress, mental depression, poor qi stagnation, poor blood circulation, blockage of the uterus, conflicts, and physical pain can be caused.
Causes of physiological pain
1. High work pressure: Long term overloaded work, women's nerves are constantly in a tense environment, and women are too sensitive to pain.
2. Nervous and irritable: Many women feel this way, feeling bored and breathing difficulties every time they get excited or angry. The reason is that when a person loses their temper, their body releases toxins. This toxin can kill a cow in one second. It not only accelerates the blood flow of the human body, but also changes the normal mechanisms in the body, exacerbating pain!
3. Irregular rest time: white-collar workers are busy with work, their daily rest is reversed day and night, and overwork sometimes occurs. This is an important reason for menstrual irregularities.
