What are the causes of uterine fibroids? What are the preventive measures for uterine fibroids
The disease of hysteromyoma has a serious impact and harm on patients. There are many reasons for its occurrence, and it is mainly related to daily life. We must roughly understand the cause and make reasonable prevention in life in advance.
Etiology of uterine leiomyoma
1. General factors:
(1) Age: Uterine fibroids mostly occur in women of childbearing age, mostly in women of 30-50 years old. Uterine fibroids rarely occur in adolescent women. Uterine fibroids atrophy or disappear after amenorrhea.
(2) Obesity: Obesity can cause metabolic disorders, lead to lack of periodic regulation of progesterone, cause abnormal menstrual cycle, affect ovulation, and increase the risk of uterine fibroids.
(3) Pregnancy and abortion history: women with a history of pregnancy and childbirth have a higher probability of suffering from uterine fibroids than women without a history of pregnancy and childbirth, and the age of onset is faster, mainly because the production capacity increases the pregnancy hormone of the female body.
(4) Smoking and drinking: smoking and drinking are easy to induce uterine fibroids. According to research, women who smoke every day are 6 times more likely to develop uterine fibroids than women who do not smoke.
2. Hormone level:
(1) High estrogen: Biochemical tests confirmed that the estrogen conversion of estradiol in myoma was significantly lower than that in normal muscle tissue, and the concentration of estrogen receptor in myoma was significantly higher than that in peripheral muscle tissue, so it was considered that the local high sensitivity to estrogen in myoma tissue was one of the important factors for the occurrence of myoma.
(2) High progesterone. Progesterone can promote the mitosis of myoma and stimulate the growth of myoma. The high level of pregnancy hormone in women is easy to induce uterine fibroids.
3. Genetic factors: Cytogenetics shows that 25% - 50% of uterine leiomyomas have cytogenetic abnormalities, such as chromosome segment position exchange, chromosome long arm rearrangement or partial deletion. Uterine fibroids are formed by proliferation of monoclone muscle cells, and multiple uterine fibroids are composed of different clone cells.
4. Discordant sexual life: long-term problems in the husband and wife's life will also affect the secretion level of hormones in the body, and chronic uterine hyperemia will lay a risk for induced myoma in the uterus.
Prevention of uterine fibroids
1. Cultivate healthy lifestyle: smoking and disordered rest time are important reasons for the occurrence of uterine fibroids. Cultivating a healthy lifestyle and forming a regular life is the most effective way to prevent uterine fibroids.
