Sexual Health
Urinary tract infection is also related to drinking water, as it can cause infertility or neglect
The typical symptoms of urethritis are redness, swelling, and stabbing pain at the urethral opening, but these symptoms are not unique. Other diseases also have this disease, mainly reproductive infections. Therefore, men should pay attention to this point, not only by timely diagnosis, but also by identifying other diseases.
1. Urethritis and gonococcal urethritis. Gonorrhea urethritis is a more serious disease. Gonorrhea urethritis is a sexually transmitted disease with specific infections. There is purulent discharge in the urethra, and Gram negative diplococci are detected in the granulocytes of the lobulated nuclei by pus coating staining. Secondly, unlike non gonococcal urethritis and trichomoniasis urethritis, women are more likely to find trichomonas in the vagina, but men find it difficult to find trichomonas. They need to check for the presence of trichomonas in the secretion from the foreskin, urethral opening, prostate fluid, and urine. In addition to urethritis, Reiter syndrome also includes conjunctivitis and arthritis.
2. How to treat urethritis. The treatment of urethritis depends on the situation, and acute and chronic treatments are different. Acute urethritis is often treated with a combination of antibiotics and chemical drugs. Attention should be paid to rest and adequate fluid supplementation during systemic treatment. During acute periods, sexual activity must be avoided in the short term. Otherwise, it will prolong the chronic period of the disease, and urethral dilation surgery must be performed when the external urethral opening and internal urethral stricture occur. The patient has urinary tract irritation syndrome, and routine antibacterial treatment is ineffective. In addition to complex factors, mycoplasma, chlamydia, or viral infections should be considered, and tetracycline treatment can be used first. If tetracycline is resistant, it can be changed to erythromycin, methylerythromycin, roxithromycin, etc. The above drugs are effective against Mycoplasma and Chlamydia. If the above treatment still fails, it may be acute urethral syndrome.
Therefore, although the symptoms of urethritis are more obvious, it is still necessary to have experienced physicians diagnose it for oneself to avoid confusion with other diseases. At the same time, treatment should be immediately carried out after diagnosis, and appropriate drugs should be selected based on the patient's disease and physical condition.
