These habits are prone to developing uterine fibroids. Several good habits are the key to prevention
The appearance of uterine fibroids has caused great distress to many patients, and there are many reasons for their illness. Among them, unreasonable lifestyle and dietary habits are the most direct reasons. We should pay attention to reasonable prevention in daily life.
Causes of uterine fibroids
1. Age: Uterine fibroids often occur in women of childbearing age, and in women aged 30-50. Uterine fibroids are rare in adolescent women, and they atrophy or disappear after amenorrhea.
2. Obesity: Obesity can lead to metabolic disorders, insufficient periodic regulation of pregnancy hormones, abnormal menstrual cycles, affecting ovulation, and increasing the risk of uterine fibroids.
3. Pregnancy and miscarriage history: Women with a history of pregnancy and childbirth have a higher probability of developing uterine fibroids compared to women without a history of pregnancy and childbirth. The age of onset is faster, mainly because the production capacity increases the pregnancy hormone in the female body.
4. Smoking and drinking: Smoking and drinking can easily induce uterine fibroids. Studies have shown that women who smoke one pack of cigarettes a day are six times more likely to develop uterine fibroids than non-smoking women.
5. High estrogen: Biochemical tests have shown that the estrogen conversion of estradiol in fibroids is significantly lower than that of normal fibroid tissue, and the concentration of estrogen receptors in fibroids is significantly higher than that of surrounding fibroid tissue. Therefore, the high sensitivity of fibroid tissue to estrogen locally is one of the important factors in the occurrence of fibroids.
6. Pregnancy hormone is high. Pregnancy hormone has the effect of promoting myoma division and stimulating myoma growth. High levels of pregnancy hormones in women are prone to inducing uterine fibroids.
7. Genetic factors: Cytogenetics shows that 25% -50% of uterine fibroids have cytogenetic abnormalities, such as chromosomal segment position exchange, chromosomal long arm rearrangement, or partial deletion. Uterine fibroids are formed by the proliferation of monoclonal muscle cells, while multiple uterine fibroids are composed of different clone cells.
Prevention of uterine fibroids
1. Cultivate healthy lifestyle habits: Smoking and chaotic rest time are important reasons for the occurrence of uterine fibroids. Cultivating a healthy lifestyle and forming a regular lifestyle is the most effective way to prevent uterine fibroids.
2. Reasonable diet: Eat a balanced and nutritious diet to avoid insufficient intake of trace elements or utilization disorders that can cause uterine fibroids to recur. Eat more grains, fruits, and fresh vegetables, and stick to a low-fat diet.
