What is AIDS?
AIDS is a very harmful infectious disease caused by AIDS virus infection. HIV is a virus that can attack the human immune system. It mainly targets the most important CD4 t lymphocytes in the human immune system, destroying cells and causing the body to lose immune function. Therefore, the human body is prone to infection with various diseases and can develop malignant tumors, with a high mortality rate.
What is the cause of AIDS?
1. AIDS virus
AIDS is a disease caused by human immunodeficiency virus, which can attack the human immune system, especially human lymphocytes. When these cells are destroyed, the human body will lose its immune function and be highly susceptible to infection with other diseases, causing great harm to the human body.
2. Sexual contact
If there are multiple sexual partners at the same time, the risk of HIV infection will be greater. According to relevant experts, the earlier the age of sexual life, the higher the risk of suffering from AIDS. In addition, lack of attention to health in sexual life is likely to cause AIDS infection.
3. Blood transmission
AIDS is essentially a disease caused by a virus, which survives in human blood and body fluids. Therefore, blood transmission is the most important way of AIDS transmission. If the blood of AIDS patients is changed carelessly, such as using the same needle tube with such patients, it is easy to be infected with AIDS.
4. Maternal child infection
For HIV carriers, if they are pregnant and have children during this period, the probability of their children suffering from AIDS is high. It is mainly because the child needs the mother's blood and nutrition supply in the mother's body, and the child will also be infected with HIV.
What are the symptoms of AIDS?
1. General symptoms
AIDS patients will have persistent fever, weakness, night sweats, and persistent lymphadenopathy, especially in the neck, armpit, and groin. The patients can lose more than 40% of their weight within three months at most.
