"The Internal Classic - Su Wen" has long explained the causes of aging in the human body: "Kidney qi failure, deficiency of essence and qi, and depletion of the days." It is emphasized that "surplus of kidney qi, and constant courage of qi vessels" are the primary conditions for prolonging life.
According to the theory of traditional Chinese medicine, the kidney governs the storage of essence, opens up the orifices in the ear, and many acupoints for treating kidney diseases are located in the ear. Therefore, regular ear massage can play a role in strengthening the kidney and nourishing the body.
Specific methods for massaging the ear:
1. Unplug both ears:
Straighten the two index fingers, insert them into the two ear holes, and rotate them 180 °. After reciprocating for three times, immediately pull it out, and the "bell bell" sounds in the ear. Generally, it is pulled out for 3-6 times. This method can promote hearing sensitivity and has the function of strengthening the brain.
2. Friction wheel:
Holding an empty fist with both hands, use your thumb and forefinger to push and rub the ear wheel up and down until the ear wheel is congested and hot. This method has the functions of strengthening the brain, kidney, ears, and eyes. It can prevent and treat diseases such as impotence, frequent urination, constipation, waist and leg pain, cervical spondylosis, palpitation, chest tightness, headache, and dizziness.
3. External ear scanning:
Sweep your ears from behind to front with both hands, and you will hear the sound of "Chacha". "Twenty times a time, several times a day, as long as you persist for a long time, you will be able to strengthen your kidneys and keep fit.".
4. Moquan ear:
After rubbing and heating the palms of both hands, massage the abdomen (i.e., the front of the ear) backward, and then massage the back repeatedly forward for 5 to 6 times. This method can dredge the meridians, and has a health care effect on the kidneys and systemic organs.
