The World AIDS Day on December 1 is coming. Mr. Wang, who serves AIDS patients, is even busier these days. Just after returning from Mudan River to love AIDS patients, he started to ask more than 50 members of Harbin AIDS hobby group to have dinner together. It is easy for more than 50 people to eat together, but it is difficult for more than 50 AIDS patients to eat together. We must eat ourselves Lao Wang said.
Lao Wang is also an AIDS patient. When he was found ill in 2006, he was in the late stage of AIDS. When he learned that he was suffering from AIDS, he was discouraged and at a loss. It was the care and encouragement of the society that gave him confidence in fighting the disease, making him the leader of the AIDS Care Group of the Red Cross Society of our province. Over the past three years, he has worked hard to expand the care group that only existed in Harbin to the whole province, from one to six, so that more AIDS patients are loved by the society.
A word of encouragement cheered him up to fight against illness
On the morning of the 29th, when the reporter saw Lao Wang in a residential building near Wenming Street in Harbin, he was answering a consultation phone call from an AIDS patient. He patiently advised the other party while listening to their speech. After hanging up the phone, Xiao Wang said to the reporter: "After waiting for a long time, my office phone is now the hotline, and almost all AIDS patients in the province call me.". Therefore, I cannot walk like other members of the group and must persist by the phone every day
Although he is only 44 years old this year, members of the AIDS Care Group affectionately call him Lao Wang. Lao Wang said that before being diagnosed with AIDS, he was a manager of an enterprise. When he learned that he was ill, he submitted his resignation to the company. In the autumn of 2006, I had a big bag on my neck, and it was the end of AIDS after examination. Mr. Wang said that his first reaction at the time was that he had died. After hospitalization, Zhu Xiaoping, the head of the provincial Red Cross Society, visited the hospital multiple times and encouraged active cooperation in treatment. Because at the end of AIDS, Mr. Wang was in poor health, and the doctor said he could live more than 20 days. After learning about Mr. Wang's situation, Zhu Xiaoping said, "Have you ever been the president? Can you pick yourself up and work for us? After multiple encouragements, Xiao Wang's thinking underwent a change. He said to Zhu Xiaoping: If I could get up, I would definitely help you with your work.
