Several misconceptions about contraceptive use during physiological periods that are not 100% successful
Many friends of both sexes know that there is contraception during the physiological period, so some friends of both sexes do not use external force to make love during the safety period. The sexual life during the safety period also has contraceptive effect, but it may not always succeed. Some female friends are also hit
Several reasons for contraceptive failure
According to statistics, the success rate of contraception during the physiological period is approximately 70% to 80%. Because the ovulation cycle of women's ovaries is regulated by hormones, hormone secretion is easily influenced by multiple factors.
External factors such as travel, environmental changes, climate change, and events may cause certain stimuli to the human body, affect hormone secretion, and lead to premature or delayed ovulation.
Self factors: disease, mental tension, emotional excitement, inhibition, etc., which may shorten or extend the Menstrual cycle. In addition, sexual activity can also stimulate ovulation. When a woman is excited, the hormone level in her body changes strangely. If the sperm signal enters, the ovary may secrete additional eggs, and the sperm can find the binding target.
Calculation method: In addition, if the calculation of ovulation date is incorrect or if the ovulation test method is not mastered, contraception is prone to failure. At present, the methods for measuring ovulation period include calendar method, basal body temperature measurement method, and cervical mucus observation method. Each of these three methods has its advantages and disadvantages, and when used together, correct training is required.
Several misconceptions about contraception
Physiological period contraception is only applicable to couples with regular Menstrual cycle, long-term cohabitation, regular life and mutual cooperation and understanding. However, due to its low safety, women who use this method of contraception should pay attention to the following points:
(1) Many diseases will change the ovulation time of women, such as Endocrine disease, kidney disease, etc. During this period, when using contraception during the Calendar-based contraceptive methods, there are many cases of contraceptive failure
(2) On physiological days, roommates generally do not conceive, but there is a possibility of accidental ovulation during physiological days. On physiological days, roommates are prone to infection, which is harmful and not beneficial
(3) Women at menopausal age who experience slight vaginal bleeding may become roommates on the 4th day after the bleeding stops. Because this bleeding may be the cause of ovulation
(4) When transitioning from oral contraception to physiological contraception, additional ovulation may occur in the first few months after discontinuing contraceptive use, or it may not be safe to use for a few months.
