Prevention of vestibular gland inflammation and hygiene habits should pay attention to details of daily life
We must pay attention to the occurrence of vestibular gland inflammation, especially by identifying the cause, adjusting our lifestyle habits, and preventing it reasonably in daily life.
The causes of vestibular macromastitis
1. History of unclean sexual intercourse: Men infected with gonorrhea are in the same room as those who have not been completely cured. Neisseria gonorrhoeae from the head of the penis enters the physiological chamber of the gland through the opening of the vestibular duct at the vaginal opening, and can also press pathogenic bacteria from menstrual blood into the opening of the duct and enter the deep part of the gland.
2. Delivery: During vaginal surgery, pathogenic bacteria can enter the glands through the wound, which can easily invade the pathogen and cause vestibular macromastitis.
3. Not paying attention to external genital cleaning: Touch the genital area with dirty hands, not washing the external genitalia every day, but changing underwear. Pathogens multiply and increase at the vaginal opening, entering the gland through the glandular duct opening, which is common among unmarried girls.
Complications of vestibular gland inflammation
1. If an abscess is not treated in a timely manner, it can occasionally spread backwards, causing the formation of abscesses around the rectum and sometimes rectal ulcers.
2. After the abscess is incised and discharged, many pus cavities are completely closed and healed. Occasionally, a fistula is formed, and a small amount of secretion is continuously discharged. When in contact with the diagnosis, there is slight compression pain, and pus flows out from the fistula during compression. Sometimes, the oral cavity closes or narrows itself, accumulating pus, forming an abscess again, recurring, and not healing for a long time.
3. After the acute stage of vestibular gland inflammation, due to blockage of the glandular duct opening, the endocrine fluid of the gland cannot be discharged and accumulates, forming a cyst of the vestibular gland.
Prevention of vestibular macromastitis
1. Pay attention to personal hygiene and clean the external genitalia with a dedicated bathtub and towel every night
2. Thoroughly clean cotton underwear with good breathability, pay attention to hygiene during physiological days, and use sanitary napkins with good sealing properties
3. End extramarital sexual activity, clean the external genitalia before and after the room, and urinate immediately after the room ends
4. Wipe from front to back after defecation to avoid contaminating the vaginal opening
5. Strive for delivery and avoid cesarean section as much as possible.
