Living a healthy, happy and long life is the goal of many of us, and it is also the hope of every man. However, in modern society, many men have experienced early aging. In order to help men become healthy and live a long life, today we will introduce five things men must avoid if they want to live a long life! Come and have a look with us!
The first harm: unprotected sex
Hazard: You are likely to catch infectious sexually transmitted diseases unconsciously. Experts point out that about 75% of women carry chlamydia, but there are no clinical symptoms, and most women with gonorrhea only exhibit mild symptoms, such as discomfort in urination or yellow fluid flowing out of the vagina, without even thinking they need treatment. Unprotected sexual behavior can transmit these diseases to men. In addition, 80% of male patients with genital herpes do not experience significant clinical symptoms such as pain. Further research has found that up to 75% of men are infected with human papillomavirus (HPV), which is currently the most common infectious sexually transmitted disease. It usually has no obvious symptoms, but if it is transmitted to women without timely treatment, it can lead to the occurrence of cervical cancer.
Remedy: If you don't have the habit of having regular physical checkups, you should ask yourself to do so starting today. Faced with a doctor, you must speak openly about your sexual situation. Herpes is a chronic disease that can be controlled with medication to avoid pain and infection.
The second biggest hazard: a love of sunbathing
Hazard: Many people believe that sunbathing not only brings attractive skin tone but also benefits their health. But don't underestimate the power of sunlight - frequent or prolonged sunbathing can also lead to skin cancer and premature aging (such as discoloration, wrinkles, skin laxity, and broken capillaries). Although no one has been able to demonstrate a direct causal relationship between sunbathing itself and skin cancer, studies have shown that those who have experienced sunburn are more likely to develop melanoma, the most deadly form of skin cancer, than others. A recent study showed that among all people who prefer sunbathing, white people are three times more likely to develop melanoma than other people.
From the perspective of sunbathing methods, "artificial" sunbathing is more harmful because the skin absorbs relatively concentrated ultraviolet rays in a short period of time.
Remedial measures: From sunburn to skin cancer, there can be a incubation period of 10 to 30 years. So if you ever got sunburns when you were a child, you must be vigilant now. Check your entire body's skin every month to see if there are any new moles, discoloration, or deformation of old moles. If you notice any suspicious symptoms, seek medical attention immediately. At the same time, if you have a high number of moles on your body or if someone in your family who often sunbathes has suffered from skin cancer, you should also have a professional skin exam once a year. Of course, there is also the most basic point: Never accept direct sunlight without applying sunscreen.
