Is there blood in the private area after sexual intercourse that has been worn out? Is vaginal bleeding during sexual intercourse a uterine problem
1.1. Hemorrhage caused by hymen injury
The most common is hymen rupture during first sexual intercourse. This type of bleeding usually occurs during sexual intercourse. At that time, there may be pain and bleeding, and the amount of bleeding is usually not significant. If the damage is not severe, the bleeding will quickly stop. However, sometimes when the hymen ruptures and happens to damage the blood vessels in that area, there is more bleeding, which requires compression to stop bleeding (such as using clean cotton balls, gauze, clean towels, etc.), and even seeking medical attention.
1.2. Vaginal laceration causing bleeding
During or after sexual intercourse, vaginal bleeding is found and the amount of bleeding is high, making it difficult to stop and causing prolonged bleeding. Vaginal lacerations often occur during involuntary or very rough sexual intercourse. Vaginal lacerations are also seen in vaginal deformities, such as vaginal mediastinum, transverse septum, double vagina, and vaginal stenosis. After undergoing vaginal plastic surgery, hymen repair, removal of vaginal lumps, and hysterectomy, sexual intercourse can also cause damage when vaginal wounds heal poorly. Improper sexual intercourse posture and position can also lead to vaginal injury and bleeding. The amount of bleeding is related to the location and severity of the injury.
2. Inflammation of the reproductive tract leading to bleeding
Genital tract inflammation, such as Cervicitis, Vaginitis and Endometritis, are common causes of vaginal bleeding after sexual intercourse.
Common Vaginitis that can cause vaginal bleeding after sexual intercourse include mycotic Vaginitis, Trichomoniasis, senile Vaginitis, etc. When women with Vaginitis have sexual intercourse, the stimulation of the vagina can lead to blood secretions flowing out, and the vagina can have a burning sensation. In addition, Vaginitis can also have symptoms such as pruritus of the vulva and increased leucorrhea. In serious cases, there will also be edema, congestion or ulceration of the vaginal mucosa, So it's not difficult to be discovered.
3. Bleeding due to Cervical polyp
Cervical polyp may occur when the cervix is stimulated by chronic inflammation for a long time. A single or multiple small granulation tissue with a pedicle grows at the cervix, resembling a bean sprout petal, and the larger one resembles a finger. The texture of polyps is crispy and tender, and they can bleed at the touch, so there may be bleeding after sexual intercourse. This type of bleeding is generally bright red in color.
4. Tumor causes bleeding
Bleeding after sexual intercourse may also be one of the risk signals for cervical cancer, but cervical cancer has a small amount of bleeding, bright red color, or manifested as white discharge mixed with blood. Due to the brittle and fragile texture of cervical tissue after cancer, bleeding can occur when the cervix is directly impacted.
