Is the commonly used care solution for women good or not? Will nursing solutions increase the spread of sexually transmitted diseases
Nowadays, there are more and more types of health lotions specifically designed for women, and there are even "imported" vaginal irrigation cleaning solutions. So, are there advantages or disadvantages to using health lotions?
Inflammation in women's private parts is most likely to breed, especially among young women, trichomonal vaginitis, mycotic vaginitis and chronic cervicitis have a high incidence rate. These three diseases have become the main reproductive system infections among women today. Therefore, many women are afraid that their private parts may not be clean, so they often use a care solution to clean their private parts, unaware that such cleaning may lead to female infertility.
Many girls believe that using health lotions is a cleaning fashion and a good hygiene habit. It is estimated that about 20 million women in the United States alone frequently use health lotions, which are also common in Africa and Asia. So, are there advantages or disadvantages to using health lotions? This is a concern for women and a topic of medical research.
1. Increase the incidence of sexually transmitted diseases
According to custom or misleading, after unclean sexual intercourse, most women use flushing fluid to rinse their vagina to prevent conception and to avoid contracting sexually transmitted diseases. However, medical investigations have shown the opposite. Indonesian doctors have analyzed 599 prenatal women and found that women who frequently use vaginal flushing fluid have an increased risk of sexually transmitted diseases, but flushing the vagina with water after sexual intercourse is not at risk. This survey also proves that flushing fluid damages the pH of the vagina, leading to rapid growth of pathogenic bacteria and an increase in the incidence of sexually transmitted diseases. And clean water does not change the pH of the vagina, so it will not damage the normal vaginal flora.
2. Destruction of the vaginal microbiota
Vaginal microbiota mainly inhabit in the mucosa and folds of the vaginal sidewall, followed by the vaginal vault and cervix. The number of live bacteria in vaginal discharge of healthy women ranges from 10 to 100 million per milliliter. At present, the most important member of the normal vaginal microbiota is Lactobacillus, which can reach 80 million units per milliliter. Its main function is to protect the vagina from external bacteria and is the "health guard" of the vagina. Therefore, in medicine, the amount of Lactobacillus in vaginal secretions is often used to determine the cleanliness of the vagina and determine the quality of vaginal self-cleaning function.
A scholar surveyed 40 healthy women of childbearing age, 92.5% of whom had lactobacilli, while only 60% of menopausal women had lactobacilli. If you frequently use vaginal cleaning fluid to rinse the vagina, there will be fewer lactobacilli.
